Ok, I can agree with some of you that it took some time to bath the kitten, but all house animals should learn in early age that taking a bath aint dangerous, some cats even like to take a bath now and then! To bath a cat in early age, nice and calm, not scaring it, will make the cat comfortble with it later.

It won't die because of some water, they are waterproof just like you and me!

@Moniik23 Cats don't usually get muddy. They clean themselves off and tend to stay away from anything too dirty anyway. I've had cats my entire life, literally haven't gone a day without one, and I have NEVER had to give one a bath. So no, you don't make any good points...

@pegcage She won't get hypothermia in a warm house bathing in warm water. Cats do get wet and swim in the wild- on the whole they just don't like playing in water . I have owned a dozen cats and occasionally they are bathed for various reasons - noone has ever died.

You can't bathe a cat and then throw it out sopping wet on a cold snowy day as it will die but so would most things including you.

@pegcage now ive seen some complainers, but jesus, you cant just protect a kitten from every single thing, they will grow up spoiled, and also how the heck do you think they live in the wild? in a nice heated blanket with some gourmet fillet? no of course not, and so you know, the water is warm, look at how it retains the soap, its cloudy, and is aerated (filled with air bubbles, kind of like underwater mist.) learn some science while your at it too bud.

I had to give a kitten a bath, once. He had been climbing near the toilet bowl, being friendly, but then he fell in. I had to grab him quickly.

I also got him in comfortably hot (not scalding) water and soap as fast as possible, washed and rinsed him as fast as possible, and dried him thoroughly, as quickly as possible.

I know your kitten is really cute, but there were two of you. couldn't one have held the camera while the other got with washing the kitten? It may have felt chilled.
