Are green terrors really aggressive... I want to get one and I was wondering how it would do with Tiger Oscars who are the same size.

@Mehee3 Your answer, 4 months late: GTs are typically very aggressive but can be housed with similar fish as long as the tank is large.What you have to be careful of is if a pair forms and breeds with other fish in the tank.In that case the male is very likely to kill every fish in the tank as a protection measure.GTs are fierce when breeding and will often attack and at least attempt to kill any fish regardless of size.Ironically,this considered "good parenting".

@saltwateraquaruim thats what my red zebra did but I was feeding my fish one time a day and then I was about to change my fish to a bigger tank so I started feeding twice a day and I think she got very comfortable and layed unfertalized eggs and then ate them like 3 days later

i been have n this problem with my GT i have 1 2" jag 2 green terror 11/2" the other about 3" then i have 2 jack dempsey 1 about 2" the other 3" my problem is the1 i got the smallest green terror like 2months before any of the other fish at first he was eating grate but now he runs from the food like hes scard weather wet or dry fd. all the fish have out grown him n the last month n a half do you know of ne thing i cld do to get him to eat pls let me know wht you think pls and thank u

theres no point in trying to make hybrids unless you know what your doing its tough and if your trying to make a gt hybrid forget it convicts are the easiest if you want a hybrid i have a jack dempsey/con hybrid.

the male have pointy dorsal/anal fins. the female's are a more rounded. also, the male has a slight bump in the forehead.
