This was a lovely tribute to a lovely man, and today would habe been his 95th birthday. It is a shame that all the Bonanza cast is gone now, but I know that Pa is keeping them all straight on the biggest Ponderosa of them all, but they all live on and ride on in our hearts forver.

Thank you for putting up this tribute to Lorne Greene on his birthday (2-12-1915). Would you believe he played as father to his three boys while still in his 40s? Yet, he was very mature. Sadly, he had died of pneumonia just weeks before he was set to do a revival of Bonanza. There will never be another Lorne Greene/Ben Cartwright--a gifted actor.
