  • I really enjoyed watching Moon last season.Hes a very good player.

  • I felt so sorry for Jordan to get that on the final table bubble. 8-2-4 has to look like the safest flop in the world for pocket Aces.

  • the video quality is exceptional

  • LOL @ RUN IT TWICE

  • Moon played like a donk the whole final table. Overplaying KJ AND QJ, he sucked and got luckier than anyone. Then again, so did Cada.

  • @EdDy4RheelZ

Man, they both played the hand like donkeys. They didnt give a f. about the paired board. Moon insta called the shove. WTF. At least think about folding. He got the third nut flush. There were several hands that could beat his hand. I would INSTA FOLD. I would put my opponent in a full house on the turn. But people waste time mocking Kopp and forget to comment about how Moon played.

  • man, moon thought about it, when he calls, he just take one second to do it, against kopp he took like 10 haha.

And about claping his hands, he got lucky against ivey and begliter and said nathing, just shook his fist against Buchman, and no one even notice it.

  • 2nd nut flush, and... several hands ?

KK-99-22-Axs of diamonds. just that range.

    nice call by the way.

  • @EdDy4RheelZ

I found really annoying when he celebrates claping his hands after calling Jordan Smith's all in shove like "I got'im"

Then he realizes one second later that wasnt polite and returns to the role of the humble donkey.

Or saying things like:" Why da hell hes playing 35s" Not knowing how bad he also played the hand against Billy Kopp.

He pretends to be humble, he bluffes his wife and has some issues with the law.

  • @foramuricy

You gotta know that at this stage, they're desperate to reach November 9. So right when he instant calls, he knows the day will be over. His excitement was more like "YES, IT"S FINALLY OVER(ALMOST OVER)" but then quickly realizes that it wasn't polite and felt bad for Smith. I don't think it was "I got him"

He played the hand bad against Kopp? Kopp was an idiot. There's nothing wrong with Moon's play. He called with a better hand.

About bluffing his wife, that, i agree with you.

  • que copado seria estar ahi.... :P algun dia me van a ver jaj

  • Jamie Gold 2.0 (not in bad) :))

  • For those who are criticizing Moon for being a horrible player, learn the difference between being humble and being an arrogant prick.

Moon stated before the final table. "I was lucky. I was flopping sets half of the time, getting Aces and Kings all day, flopping nuts" "I am a product of good run of cards" "If it weren't for luck, Ivey and other players will chop me off"

This says it all. No use hating this person when he willingly advertises himself as "worst poker player in the world"

  • My point exactly

This guy is not a good player to me, i even hate his uber aggression because it ends up in really dumbs all-in heads up, but i gotta recognize the fact that he got a ton of luck and made it to the final table fair and square.

  • All this Darvin Moon hate is ridiculous. People hate this humble logger when he tells the whole world more than anyone that he sucks. He's one "donkey" that I do not hate and instead, respect. I can understand the hate against Jamie Gold and Jerry Yang because they were annoyingly lucky and think they deserved it but this man doesn't consider himself anywhere near professional level, decides to go back to woods, but yet, people still hate at him. People who hate him need to get a life.

  • Did you read a word of what i wrote? I just said that i don't hate him, i just hate the way he plays, i hate any player that goes that way because that ends up in ppl that re-raise the pot like 8 bb after a 2 bb raise... that's senseless poker to me, but i guess everyone has their own point of view

About J.G. and J.Y.... even when Moon was practically never in the line he did got very lucky when he went heads up with smaller stacks (this video proving my point) so i guess that's the same thing.

  • I never argued with you. I just said that it's ridiculous how other people are hating Moon. Sure, he made stupid plays and got lucky. I laughed hard when he went all-in with K9 against Cada's AA. But it's still better than Cada shoving all-in with deuces and tres against Shulman's Jacks and Saout's Queens because the difference was, Moon had a margin of error he can afford to lose whereas Cada was the one at risk of getting knocked out.

  • Totally right about Cada... I guess this may be the worst WSOP IMO, i really enjoyed the 2008 main event and this one really left me wanting for something more.

  • @daspidrr The jerry yang one was worse.

  • For this video, people are dumbasses if they call Moon a donk over this hand. Moon had every right implied odds to call Smith's reraise during pre-flop. It was just unlucky cooler for Smith. Flop comes out, Moon bets right out, Smith reraised all-in because for Smith, it was either shove or fold for him. Moon could've betted with anything there on the flop(KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 77, 66, etc). Smith was just destined to go broke and become a bubble boy for final table. Cooler deck.

  • theres nothing wrong w/Jamie Gold he deserved his win rightfully, he kept chip lead 2006 longer than most are able to w/out a doubt. He plays alotta hands to make himself harder to read, you aren't half as good as anyone you talk about. Leave critiquing for ppl worth a shit at poker.

  • Nice footage!

  • Let's face it, he's played well. What did he do wrong in that hand? Or any hand for that matter?

Nobody can get this far without being lucky. I don't think anyone here can say that they didn't survive by making a bad beat on someone.

    Well done to the guy.

  • that fat idiot moon is so lucky

  • Get to the final table of the WSOPME with 60million in chips and maybe I'll call you that "fat idiot moon man who is so lucky". Idiot.

  • u piece of shit he is a lucky crap hislucky will run out at the final table-just watch him donk off that 60m stack

  • Oh I'm sorry, let me come to your class - no he wnt m8 wht u on 'bout he iz sooooooooooo gunna win.

I'm not saying he is going to win. But please, please, send me an email when you do get to the final table with 60million in chips.

  • i think your totally wrong

  • he has been very lucky getting A' and K' even this hand he flopped a set

  • How hard is it to play poker when your delt the best hand every time....

He is good, but no way near the standard to win this thing. Ivey FTW

88 verus AA has a 80% loss ratio so he is lucky and i bet you his BMI say he is fat. But he isn't an idiot

    So lets rephrase that term.

That fat Moon is so lucky.

  • He isn't being dealt the best hand every hand. And for the 88 versus AA, how many hands do you think they went through to get this scenario? They play for an extremely long time. Of course the aces aren't folding, but to be knocked out you had to be pretty damn unlucky with your big hands, like this.

Take 2003 for example: Ivey got unlucky. Every 10th place finisher gets unlucky. Unlucky is kings vs aces. It's just poker and moon isn't an idiot, he played correctly.

  • 88 is bound to beat AA time to time.

  • He's like a new Moneymaker. Good for the game.

  • He's like a Moneymaker 2.0 version

  • Nobody, they play the final table in November.

  • I did!!! I won 10000million dollars!!! I had duces in the hole, I went ALL-IN UTG and all the table called me!!

The flop came 222 the turn was the 2 and the river comes 2!! OMFG I OWN YOUR AZZ

  • NO, I won 100 zilion dollars!!! I went all in with 72 off pre-flop, a guy called me with AA and I hit the nut full house 77722 on the flop!!!!

  • Anyone know how much Jordan Smith's stack was at that point?

  • darvin is soo amazing from winning a satellite tourney in west va too being chip leader in the wsop WOOT......

  • 0:02 lol haha "run it twice"

  • that dude wasnt shortstacked...he had like 30mil in chips...he made an all in overbet on the flop and ran into a set...sick!!! i would kill myself

  • I wouldn't call it an overbet, I think he just wanted to take it down cause he was nervous of a set, not realising it had already happened.

  • "Run it twice!!" lol

  • Yeah the guy still made a ton of cash. It was the millionaire bubble basically haha

  • OMG, that's gotta be horrible. Short-stacked with AA and runs into an inferior hand that flops a set. I would have nightmares for bubbling out 10th place like that. Very horrible.

  • that wasnt the bubble the bubble is like 600 th place

  • I meant bubble as in final table. You do know that finishing 10th place feels much worse than bubbling 600 something. 10th place, you burn ur ass off for 7-8 days and you become 1 spot short from final table and lose all the benefits of what finalists get. There's a huge difference between 9th place and 10th place.

  • Actually not that much.

    $896,730 10th place

    $1.25 million 9th place

  • Think about all the publicity that 9th place will be getting. All the publicity, sponsors, fame, etc. Add those value up and it's more than 1.25 million. But I agree. This year's winning difference between 10th place and 9th place isn't much compared to last year's.

  • You are right, I didn't thought about all the publicity of the 9th table, I agree.

For example, If D. Phillips finish 10th in 2008 instead of 3rd, he would have been less publicized the last couple months.

  • :D yeah just 330k dollars, everybody has that :D:D lol

  • @EdDy4RheelZ yeah, i heard that this year that people were only playing pocket aces when it got to 10. It took a long time................

  • @EdDy4RheelZ um idiot.. nooo bubbling 600 somethin feels WAY worse becuz A. U were still playing for 2-3 days with NOOO cash ... bubbling 10th for the final table ur almost a millionaire ... ur a moron ...

  • @Element1516 Actually dipshit, bubbling, you only lose 1 buy-in(which you get it back from Beef Jerky). You can grind 10k easily if you're a player who bought into 10k. As finalist, not only do you get more money, you gain fame and celebrity status. You get sponsors, interviews, etc, aka more money. You'll never get that deep run chance to the final table of WSOP Main Event again. So it's way worse than bubbling 600th or so. Next time, think before you speak and respond back to me, ok fuckface?

  • @EdDy4RheelZ ur a fuckin idiot dude and dont kno anything u speak of... just shut ur fuckin mouth and dump money to us players... goodbye

  • @Element1516 Dude, you're a fucktarded moron. Just slit your wrist and die please. Why the fuck are you still alive? Just burn in hell please.

If you played enough multi-table tournaments live, you would realize that barely cashing isn't impressive. Many will seek to reach the final table and run deep rather than surviving like a little pussy just to double your bankroll or less. I play to win, not to cash, just like rest of good players out there.

    Goodbye as well.

  • @EdDy4RheelZ fair enough i agree

  • That's so common it doesn't even phase me anymore... and it always seems to be at a crucial juncture with lots of money/chips in for me.

  • you are totally right,

this guy will remember that hand for the rest of his life, out with AA finishing 10th place in the biggest poker tournament, 1 place short from the final table, so cruel...

  • learn how to hold a camera phone

  • GO IVEY!

  • Nope !!
