  • I am very happy to see the vidoe Positive definite matrices K = A'CA from you, hopefully the others also are happy for You

  • Steady I Really Like This Video Positive definite matrices K = A'CA

  • Good, I like that you share this video Positive definite matrices K = A'CA, I wish success always

  • I Love The Video Positive definite matrices K = A'CA It Can Increase My Knowledge

  • Good, I like that you share this video Positive definite matrices K = A'CA, I wish success always

  • Nice Video Positive definite matrices K = A'CA That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • I Really Like The Video Positive definite matrices K = A'CA From Your

  • Your Video Positive definite matrices K = A'CA Is Very Useful Sharing

  • although engineering is very difficult to comprehend, it is still a fun profession...only if you truly love it then it will automatically love you back.

  • ha einzige deutsche hier

  • It seems like the ideas coming from this video doesn't grow old with the video.

  • you're the man! awesome!

  • this is not even 15 frames per sec

    would need 25 at least

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? being this lame

  • I wish I can attend this course and had the opportunity to ask lots and lots of Qs about wavelets & multiresolution.

  • The mans a genius.

  • @r1ccardo That's why your probably not an engineer. People who build the bridges you go over, the cars you drive in, and the computer your using right now, would have never been able to do those things if it wasn't for math like this.

  • @r1ccardo If you have to ask that, you probably won't use it. If you use MATLAB in industry, of any kind, you use this. These are tools in a toolbox for doing research and designing engineering solutions. If I was trying to solve a problem to determine how an electrical network behaves when it's loaded with a pulse of current, you might need to use one of these matrices to solve the partial differential equation. It's step k in many many steps.

  • This is the first lecture, and it's MIT. It's not too basic for the first lecture. He kicks into high gear later on. Look how fast he goes through wavelets (Lectures 26,27,28)

  • cambridge makes u.s universitys look like playschool ???

  • @british123able this is just day one brah, go look at later lectures

  • I think there is this course with the lectures from an other year.

  • I wish i was old enough to get in it looks really cool

  • Man I cant wait to get into this school...

  • It's awesome to see older people studying =) You're always young enough to learn.

  • and old enough to know that the best defense against Alzheimer's is to continue using the brain! It also helps to exercise physically and eat blueberries. (Although antidepressants help, I'd rather not take them for that purpose!)

  • top notch free education from MIT math genius... FTW

    awesome

  • He looks so shy. But at the same time he looks like a nice and very good teacher.

  • Old ppl can be from other areas such as chemistry and want to use applied math in their research.

  • Gracias por comparitr.

    Thanks for sharing

  • hes pretty good

  • Thank You, Professor Strang.

  • wow old people are studying

  • This first lecture is basic, but the course is not. Just look at the syllabus.

  • Hey, this is Gilbert Strang. I used his linear algebra book for upper-division math at UCSD. I have no idea why this is upper-division though because linear algebra is the easy-A of math.

  • I had to use that guy's book for linear algebra...

  • wow old people are studying

  • this cant be a graduate course its too basic.

    good lecture though

  • wait a minute i had that professor....

  • what a chalk and black board!

  • Thank god for technology

  • why whats wrong about their school?

  • It's a graduate H level course.

  • i think that's undergraduate

  • is this graduate or Undergraduate, coz i see old people ??!!
