As long as you have at least a couple of friends with whom to explore the world and you take everything slow you'll find ryzom the be a completely different game.
I don't recall how many times i found myself staring at some small detail (a firefly, insects, the sky,the birds, the waving trees).
You can compare ryzom to current mmorpg trends and find it adequate or you can play it for the setting and the people and you will find it to be incredibly immersive.
@Pinguinus I agree with this 100%. Ryzom was my first MMO and will always be my most special, and I also found myself noticing the smallest details and reveling in them. I regret that I no longer have any friends there to spend time with, but I always have the fondest memories with me.
By the way, I know you mention the name of the group that did the song in this video, but I can't seem to find them anywhere on the internet! But I love them; must have more songs!! Got any good leads?
