i actually used lumigan which is a comparatively cheaper substitute for latisse on my eyebrows and the lost hair have grown back ! so i'd say it works wonders.
Really like this Q&A video! Keep them coming! I actually just found an answer for my acne scars, as I've already tried a variety of peelings with small results and I don't have courage and time enough for a laser treatment, I might try to find those scar "lifting" treatments. I just need to find a clinic in germany that does that! thank you!
Dr i saw a video from skin sos they have a solution for removing keratosis. They have a video on youtube and i tried including it but it won't allow it. Is this actually possible? I have seen your videos that it is a sign of aging and normal, but I very much dislike the look of them. Is there any other method of removing them? Would a product like this work?
About how many sessions of chemical peels such as glycolic are needed to improve mild depressed acne scars? Also, since im 17 is it true that sometimes all I need is time since my skin is still very elastic?? Thank you
Hi Doctor, Do you recommend infrared light laser also known as red light therapy to improve the collagen and overall skin results? My husband also ask, how to get rid of really big scars on his chest. He had have these for years and they wont go away. He has seen a dermatologist and the dr injected a liquid into the scar which did nothing & I think made it slightly bigger. Please help!
Dr Schultz, please talk about skin whitening by using various methods such as injections with vitamin c and gluthathione? Please do justice to those people that want to lighten their skin instead of people looking for a sunbathed tan. Thanks.
Is using Benzoyl Peroxide that is over 2.5% concentration necessary? Or is it just as effective as 5% or 10% Benzoyl Peroxide? And even better for your skin?
I use La Roche Posay sunscreen because it has UVA and UVB protection, but I could only find it in SPF 50. Is it okay to use a sunscreen with such a high SPF? I'm only outside for about 30 minutes on any given day. What sunscreen do you recommend to your patients?
what ingredients or products should women avoid before and during pregnancy aside from retinoids? i hope you can address this question in your next viewer questions episode
I like the new format. I have been sending several questions, but none of them have been answered. For example, how does alcohol use damage the skin? Why do people on meth get bruised and battered skin/ How long will Sculptra last? When is a good age to get Thermage or Sculptra?
My skin is combination/dry and my pores seem to clog very easily, oftentimes causing styes, blackheads, etc. Is there some ingredient or procedure I should be doing to help make my skin stop clogging up? (I use a simple skincare routine including Cetaphil products mostly).
Great info! I love the idea of the Viewer Question every Tuesday. Getting the answers from an actual doctor is helpful & informative. Please continue with viewer questions! thank you for taking the time to post the video! :)
I have had two moles removed and each of them have scarred. I have moles on my face and as a 17 year old girl it really hurts my self esteem. Is there any way to remove moles without having scars?
Thank you for your time. I appreciate you taking time from your hectic life to make such informative videos on youtube.
My question is - is it ok to use retinol every night while using a BHA (20%) every weekend? Or is it too much exfoliation? This is regards to oily and easily congested skin.
I love this idea! I have a question that I posted on your website awhile ago: Can you use natural oils as an antioxidant? If so which ones do you recommend, argan, grape seed etc?
Great Idea!!! Question: Are chemical peels (tca peel 12.5%) safe on dark skin? Is it wise to use retin A up to the day of the peel, if not how many days do u suggest not using it before and after? TCA peel(12.5%), salicylic acid peel, glycolic acid and lactic acid, of all peel which would be more effective in treating acne scars in dark skin...
this is a great idea! love it! a question i hope u see! i have acne scarring, my skin has improved bc of regular exfoliating. i have been considering buying a bleaching cream for spot treatment but aside from the fact that in the past products always seemed to get into my eyes they also weren't effective. i'm also worried abt discoloration & increased sensitivity to the sun. can u suggest an effective & safe cream to even out my skin tone? thanx! more vids on hair please!!!!
dr schultz you are amazing! I've even bought your book and I love it :). I would like to ask you about flaky skin. I have combination/oily skin and am in my 20s. but I still have flaky skin in certain parts of my face this becomes exaggerated whenever I wear a foundation. I also have dry lips. what should I do? thanks
Dr. Schultz... I love this idea! You're so helpful and I love listening to you! I recently purchased your glycolic, sunscreen, and toner (I think I wrote this to you already) and I have been using it for about 2 weeks now...
