The voice actor who provided the voice of the blonde was the same voice actor who was the one who provided the voice of Scarlett in the GI Joe cartoon in the 80's
Well, there'a also the theory that Mr. Crane escaped, that he got married and became a judge. But of course part of the horror of the story is not knowing exactly what happened.
This story implies the possibility that Ichabob Crane was frightened away from Sleepy Hollow and the ghost was real. There are other possible answers:
Ichabob could've been killed by the ghost and it carried away his body. Others think that the ghost was really Brom Bones(Ichabob's rival) in disguish and the pumpkin was used to imitate a severed head and that he disposed of Ichabob's dead body.
Even though it's fiction, you never find out what really happened to Ichabob.
@pytko3 the book makes it very obvious that the horseman was Brom. I have the original book story right here in front of me, and the horseman is pretty undeniably Brom.
Ichabod's fate is less clear, but my guess is he was killed by Brom.
Cartoon can be completely independant of the book, of course.
I remember this to be one of the scariest episodes in my childhood

You can tell this was one of the episodes developed by the always great J. Michael Straczynski.

The Headless Biker/horseman reminds me of The Kurgan from Highlander...even his laugh(sorta).
