  • Unlike William Wallace, not 'betrayed' by his countrymen; just ignored and forgotten...Should not it be TOGETHER against the common enemy, England?

  • 'Arthur',born to an unstable Frenchman in Cornwall...More EVIDENCE for the existence of Lailoken,Caer Gweddoleu...the 'Final Battle',Alban 'Arfderydd', Cymric 'gueith Ardywedit'?,Inglish 'Battle of Arthuret(h)',circa 573 AD (archaelogy places this 10 miles North of Carlisle); The slaying of G. by Rhydderch Hael,King of Bernicia.(He did at least give the Deirans a kicking:'Y Gogoddin').Lailoken ran to the 'woods of Ceddylon',redeemed by Kentigern,to 'Myrddin'.Knights: Alderley Edge..Y Gogledd! )O(

  • Really enjoyed this. Many thanks for the upload though it did make me feel quite sad that he didn't succeed. A fair point about the betrayal of Wallace. The Scots do have that self destrucitve element in them but that's a discussion for another day ...

  • Once again Welsmen are sold out , this time by the NUM The millions they made off Welsmen and they killed our children of Aberfan How much longer will welshmen let these kind of people shit on us ? People of Wales should rise once more!

  • Another thing wishMaggott

Churchill sent the army into Wales and killed people, Later in the 70s Thacther did it with politics she killed the hopes of many in the valleys of Wales. I would spit in her face and crap on the grave of Churchill.

  • WishMaggott

Im a Welshman and I want my country to be run by Welshmen, Luxembourg is around the same size as Wales and that is not run by German but by there selfs. Also thats what they also said about Ireland but they have done fine. Also if we do make mistakes, I would prefer to go down with a Welsh Government than an english one. History show us time and time again that the only way you can get rid of the them is to Kick them out. Before they rape your country and take your way of life.

  • Its a Shame that all the people that have seen this video, and have told of there feelings of Wales now they have seen this ,That its never reflected in the Votes in the ballot Box . Your Freedom is in your hands every time you vote.

  • @scottiehypnosis01 Ahem itll take more than 2503 people to get our independace.......and the fact that people are too smart to vote for a party that will brake off from the UK AND the EU. Wales is too small and too closley tied to both the UK and EU survive economically without them, we need one (EU in my opinion) to function in a fiscal (money) sence.

  • A colorful Individual and the last prince of wales...He leaves a Scots nationalist proud to be a Celt.

    Thank you

  • Astonishing documentary! I hope that Owain Glyndwr's fream will come true very soon. Cymru am byth!

  • Thank you, Mr. Glyndwr65. You have provided me with the opportunity to learn something of the history of Wales.

  • glyndwr isn't dead he lives on in every welsh man and woman.

    CYMRU AM BYTH

  • you know its said he is buried in carmarthenshire, well he's buried in my church in llanwrda. there is a vault underneath.

  • theres so much that isnt known towards the end, theres too much suposition for me to take this last part seriously

  • I Think he is at a place called monnington court , there is a church in the grounds , his sister lived there . There is a place up the road called hanmore cross ( the name of the man who brought him up). two miles down the road is a place called Byeford ( the name of one of his bishops).

  • thanks for posting, very interesting and enjoyable.

  • cymru am byth

  • Blergh.

Not to tarnish his achievements, but Glyndwr's rebellion did have a huge negative effect on Wales for decades to come - the already poor nation was greatly further impoverished by the rebellion and economic blockade and thousands of people had died - leading to arable land to be deserted and commerce to dwindle...

  • makes me sad how little my friends know of Owain Glyndwr, more must be taught of Owain in Welsh schools to celebrate his legacy

  • @lickstickly agreed.

  • why pronounce wisened like that?

  • Amlwch mawr!

  • i must say ....

the welshman who is ltloosefit is feeling deeply patriotic now more than usual. thank you owain glyndwr and thank you glyndwr65.

when mr edwards said that love of our great country live on in us all is true in my case. wales is and will always be the greatest country in the world not just for being renownd for our welsh bowmen but also for its great landscapes and for being my home.

  • Owain Glyndwr am byth!!
