The opening notes were originally composed by Frontiere as the theme for Joseph Stefano's unsold 1964 pilot "THE UNKNOWN" (the episode was presented on "THE OUTER LIMITS" as "The Forms of Things Unknown").
Frontiere is fantastic! I loved his outer limits music more than anything! I wish he were more in the limelight these days. Does anyone know how to write to him, or what he's been doing?
Truly ominous, how did he come up with this sound?
