I have no problem if women want ot fullfil a mans fantacy, as if there is a shortage of men. The problem I have is they creat huge families they can not afford, them BLEED THE BEAST, for support, apply separately for every gov welfare progam.cheat the tax payer. Studies have shown that for every 1 dollar in taxes they pay, they take in 8 dollars. It is ironic that the LDS Church claims to be a Christian church despite the rejection by many other denominations, but at the same time feels they can dictate who is and who isn't Mormon. My feeling is if you believe Joseph Smith was a prophet and the Book of Mormon is the word of God, you are officially a Mormon. No ifs, ands, or buts. I assume that not all Fundamentalist Mormons are polygamous, but do support the rights of polygamous families?

I am not poly, but I try to honor and respect everyone. I'll be honest; I just don't get polygamy. I do believe in freedom of religion, but where do we draw the line? Most of the polys I've come in contact with are fervently against gay marriage. If it's okay to be poly, why shouldn't gays be allowed the right to marry?

Well, I've been married twice. My second husband says he would rather live alone in the desert than be forced to have more than one wife. He's sure that polys must have heaven and hell confused. I said, "Dude, you're just afraid that if you had two wives, we'd be nagging you about the same crap! Then you'd HAVE to mow the lawn more than twice a summer." He had no comment. LOL Life and love are so confusing. I wouldn't want the extra emotional work to do.
