cool but that is a wide angle lens because it is more wide and round aorund corners.

fisheye is pretty similar but the center image is opposite

(it it sticking out, closer to camera) instead of far away

good effect though, i wish i had sony vegas

the point of a fisheye(at least for most occasions) is to get a better view of the subject in close up situations, not for it to just look cool. so i dont get why you would do this.

I used the deform effect and rounded the edges out and but a media generated black circle over it.

This is the closest I can get it to look like I am using a real fish eye lens.. Go to video effects and click Cookie Cutter.. The circle Center.. Make it bigger....

And for the camera distortion I think that you use the spherize effect.. Just play with the settings..

Anyway let me know if you think I am right..

I have finally figured it out.. You need to put the Spherize effect twice.. If you want the settings I can send them.. But you should be able to play around with the effect until you get the curve.. Put one on the left and one on the right.. And then use the cookie cutter to show the circle..

Can't you use the pinch and punch effects on a low setting and then add the cookie cutter?
