  • Ihr seid totaaaaal Wahnsennig!! Und das ist gut so. ;-))

  • Oh man that sounds so badass!

  • Heimatschutzminister?

  • Even if that old Radial is down on power it still could have 250+hp!... in a car that tiny that thing would FLY!

  • Small car... huge carbon foot print.

  • hp?

  • @chargerfish1

    HORSEPOWAARGH

  • @BitGridTV ik i was wondering how much lol

  • @chargerfish1

    haha I know ;D

well actually I am wondering about that as well.

mayb enough for 10 cars :D (at least 750hp ???)

perhaps this guy should keep the original Goggo motor

    -as coolant pump LOL

  • @BitGridTV lol

  • hergestellt in Deutschland

  • That is so bonkers its brilliant, what a fantastic project :D

  • Super!

  • Super!

  • Super!!

  • I do late shift work.... DON'T BE MY NEIGHBOUR. LOL

  • 20 people wanted to sit the back seat

  • JESUS CHRIST!

  • I think i would rather have put it in a sleek boat!! =)

  • How do you turn it through to stop hydraulic lock? When an M14p is on a plane you just turn the prop through with the mags off to check...

  • Cool!

I just love this little, but crazy car!

  • crazy germans

  • very cool but does it drive?

  • FANTASTIC!!! THAT THING WILL SLAUGHTER MY FERRARI!!!!

  • I wouldn't feel comfortable driving or riding in the car. The engine is right behind the guys head.

  • Wuuuuaaahahaaaaaa!!!! So geil !!!! Klasse gemacht !!!! XD

  • ok..... ive seen alot of rediculos shit on youtube.... this takes the retard cake!

  • how much is the engine??

  • looks like that barbecue food tastes like gas!

  • the first goggomobil with more than 50liters/100km

  • JA! Deutschus Spernmottoren Auto!

  • @ChicaWolverina ????? Deutsches Sternmotoren-Auto!

  • hahaha you are mad *thumbs up*

  • jesus christ it revs quickly! many bike engines dont even rev that fast. the air and exhaust must be extremely well flowed

  • that car will fail at smog check station

  • were did the engine come from I mean were do you just pick up an old radial engine must have cost loads but cant praise this enough I love these type of wacky projects

  • @hod05 It was offered in German Ebay. Nobody wanted to buy. Then I contacted the seller after Ebay expired.... The engine was originally from a Zlin 37 agricultural airplane.

  • @dwerke LOL.. Imagine calling the ADAC with an engine faillure. "Would you open up the bonnet, sir?" "Sure thing!"

  • @dwerke its cute isnt it?

  • Honey im just going down to the shop ... im back!

  • @dwerke ok :) danke :)

  • Take this car for your driver's test.

  • The guy driving must have gone deaf.

  • Awesome.

  • Barbeque and wine, just in case it all goes wrong. Now that's what I call planning!!.

  • will the car roll over if you push the accelerator fast enough?

  • And it has no transmission!

    Completely.Fucking.Useless!

  • It's a james Bond getaway smokescreen car

  • "Risen Auf Runin" great song choice

  • OMFG!!! When he fired that thing up I just about hit the floor. Good job!

  • There are no mechanical advantages to having a radial engine in an automobile. Radials were designed for aircraft so that each cylinder gets an equal amount of air for cooling. You claim 360 HP. You can get that from a turbocharged 4 cyl. It is however an interesting project.

  • @Megawatts121 if you think this project is about power you are fuking idiot

  • @ActiveStorage

Looking at your comment, I have no problem understanding why some idiot would want to place a radial aircraft engine ina piece of shit foreign car that we in CANADA would use for target practice.

  • @Megawatts121 no need to use capslock. im glad you finally understood

  • This....is ..... amazing

  • dam could you of found a smaller car to put it in lol

  • you are mad! lol

  • Fuck Al Gore!

  • Whoa, whoa whoa! Wait a minute here! You put a radial airplane engine in the back seat of an old Gogomobil! Two questions:

What are you people smoking? Where can I get some?

  • Hmmm, bet it keeps your back nice and warm ! It's like a bbq on wheels ! LOL Regards from Anna. ;- )

  • That thing is either really fast, or really slow.

  • That thing is either really fast, or really slow.

  • is it nosy inside? :))

  • Sounds fuckin' awsome!

  • isnt that thing air cooled?

  • Al Gore will love this

  • fuck me freddy ! dude must have his own gas station.

  • jesus

  • GDR anthem :D cool

  • Didn't know radials were so responsive to the thottle. Does it drive the wheels or a propellor. If wheel, then its gonna need a single big rubber roller of a wheel like something from the Flintstones

  • we gotta get this thing down to the drags :)

  • Carbon footprint. What carbon footprint.

  • @charlessmyth

    Carbon FOOTPRINT???

    More like carbon CANYON!

  • pimpin golf cart

  • Comment removed

  • @herbievideo55 lol yep

  • you know just that that thing is behind the drivers head

  • i think it would flip over itself if one pushes too hard on the throtle!!! hahaha nice anyway

  • esse caro faz 10 litros por Quilômetro =D

  • heh awesome... (me ignoring the lack of proper cooling for an airplane engine)

  • The guy is an engineer; he runs a state-of-the-art machine shop and makes his own CNC controls.

  • i like the beer and the grill and 1:14

  • Now lets hear that radio

  • ......THE WHAT ???

  • ere mate, you're a nutter!

but a pretty damn cool one

  • That engine is crazy- but I love it!! The builders must also have a great sense of humour!! We need more stuff like this!

  • A 1500.00 smallblock Chevy would put this car into the 9's, but hey, radials are awesome engines.

  • CAN YOU BUTY THEM IN AFRICA

  • welp...i've seen it all. this car runs 10's

    check out his other vid's

  • Und ein deutsches Getriebe?

lol... nice car though fella. Ever read "Werner"?

  • Woah! a plane on 4 wheels = awesomeness!!

  • I just love mechanical insanity like this. Here's to all the crazy guys all over the world in sheds and garages and back yards building pointless machines just cos they can. Or had to because they thought of it and just had to make that thought real. Backstreet heros every one.

  • Und wer denkt an den Umweltschutz? Mal wieder Keiner -.-*

    Gute Arbeit Jungs +1

  • Is that engine fuel injected? and how do you keep oil from filling the bottom cylinders when not in use?

  • The engine is carburated, and the mix flows to each cylinder. The Oil is kept in a reservoir tank, and cycled through the crankcase. Radials use a lot of oil. You shut the oil tank off when the engine is stopped, so only what is still in the engine has a chance to leak. The cylinders shrink as they cool, and oil does seep past. It's partly the collected oil, and partly oil leaking thru the large gaps that makes all that smoke on startup. Once engine is hot, the fit is right.

  • Many US tanks used radials during WWII. An aircraft engine is meant to run at high RPMs for long times, but in a tank they had to run thru the revs every gear change. Worse, they would sit idling for periods, which would cool the engine enough for oil to seep through and foul the sparkplugs. A radial has at least 2 per cylinder, so replacement was a bitch. Not ideal but it worked. In a modern car engine, little oil is lost, but a radial had to be topped off every chance. They could use quarts.

  • You don't, that's why it smokes like a forest fire on start up. On an airplane you would normally hand prop slowly for a few revolutions to help pump it out before starting.

  • what kind of engine rpm do you expect?

  • oh my god that thing is AWESOME!!!

  • 9 cylinders 0_o it would probably snap the transmission before it went anywhere! :D

  • .....DUDE THE THING RUNS 10s... check out his other video's lol

  • Where do you put the luggage?

  • How do you keep it from overheating?

  • The shape of the car body does provide enough air flow. Watch my other videos.

  • ELECTRIC CHAIR!

  • More like Mechanical- death chair.

  • What the??????? O.O Hahahahha!! AWESOME

  • can i really drive?

  • I think it drinks a lot of fuel....

  • at full throttle 3 Liter per minute

  • @dwerke

    Per minute??!! That's so crazy!!!!

  • @dwerke hahahaha lol that's fucking insane

  • well done :-)

    grat job.

  • Bet you get some serious torque reaction from that engine?

  • What kind of power does it make?

  • 360 HP

  • wow thats all??

  • Fantastic project and master executed, trully showcar.I just wonder about the temperature inside the car...thats anyway would be nice for winter rides...

  • drive train anyone?

  • Who needs the ozone layer anyway. :)

  • so does this thing actually move?

  • sure, watch #4

  • Al gore would love to see this startup...

  • Nice motor, and nice work, but why a little ugly car like that?

  • So what car do you sugguest is more usefull for the conversion with a radial engine?

  • It would be cool in a drag truck or something like that.

  • It is my effort to make it street legal. The power of this radial is too few for a truck, but right enough for a micro-car.

  • The work in this car is superb, though I was a bit concerned with the transmission as the dogs on the selector looked rather small for such an enormous motor,I assume the trans is just forward and reverse,it was hard to tell as not much of it was shown which was a shame, also it didnt seem to go as fast as I imagined it would, the motor alone reved great, but when coupled with the trans and driving it didnt seem to have much grunt to it.Keep up the excellent work, any more projects in the pipeline?

  • maybe one of the smaller Isetta cars? :D

  • How about a VW Beetle? ;]

  • Cool!!! I love the unusual !!! Do you gave a drive train in plans?

  • Fuckin excellent!!`

  • Looks like death on wheels- I LOVE IT!!!!

  • just driving to the supermarket...

    VVVRRRRROOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

  • This little bastard will kill us!!

  • what's the drivetrain from, a tank?

  • is it the plane engine?

  • yes, from agriculture airplane. also well know as air-tractor Z37

  • You are the BEAST!!

    Very good work!!

    a aceleração é fantastica!

    parece um motor V12

    hahaha

  • erstmal bier saufen und dann autos bauen!!!! und sowas bekommt man dann=)

  • brilliant!!! 5 stars!!!

  • damn i want to see it take off!!!

put that thing in gear and drive it like you stole it please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cant see it passing its emmisions...

  • I've sen it all now! (Should have left the prop and had an air driven motorcar!

  • Eindeutig untermotorisiert das Ding!!!

  • you would probably just be better off leaving the propeller on and having the car propeller powered

  • well it doesn't go anywhere the owner just built it to rev the engine.

  • look at radial engine powered car #3 (Transmission) for some true engineering. this guy didnt just "put" the motor in the car.

  • Excellent engineering...!

  • That will over heat, normally they have huge prop cooling them, thats inside the car!

    And, no firewall!

    Take me away, I'm insane!

  • stop bein a pussy

  • lol!

  • Agreed entirely TP... but I suppose this is just built as a bit of fun publicity for t' welding company.

(It'd be a Porsche flat-six in the Goggo if you wanted it streetable!!!)

    :o)

  • what the?

  • that is fucking bad ass!!!!!!!!

  • The Krauts, they've got ambition, knowhow and they don't loose their bottle!

  • a little top-heavy, perhaps? watch those hi-speed turns!!!!

  • thats is crazy sum-bitch danm that thing must go damn fast

  • How do they cool that thing????

  • Leave it to the Germans. It is hard to stay mad at the Germans.

  • deutsche zuschauer

    finden deutschen wertarbeit klasse

    wir halten euch im auge

    deutscher schraubergruss

  • That is the craziest/awesome thing i have seen in a really long time.

Weiter so! Hope to see the machine live very soon.

    Congratulations

    H1z

  • thats just it, only the engine. He forgot the blueprints for the transmission and available space

  • And brakes!!!!!

  • free heating, really warm

  • talk about a hot seat... Cool.
