Wow!! What a nice boy there!! I wish more hunters were like this instead of out killing EVERYTHING that crosses their path. Deer can be just as beautiful alive as they can be dead and on your wall. I love waking up every morning and seeing the deer graze out back. I may take 1 or 2 down each season, but I dont believe in abusing it!! Thank you!!

@MrZachman11 - The only thing it that pisses me off about you comments is how you assume you know everything and call folks morons without all the facts. Where I hunted at in the Proviencial Forest you do not buy over counter tags. The outfitters are assigned tags and areas and no one else hunts there. I am not so sure you have hunted Saskatchewan since you do not know that residents can only hunt guided hunts with licensed outfitters. I am sure the hunting is good in your trailer park though.

I really don't appreciate getting called a moron by an uneducated person such as yourself. If you had taken the time to read my full post and not just look at the pictures (which morons do) you would have read that I killed a deer the day before and I went back to the same stand the next day just to video, It's not just about the killing and I certainly do not break the law when i hunt. So the next time you comment to someone you don't know I offer this advice. Get the facts, be respectful.

Update 12-6-10: I went back again this year to hunt specifically for him, unfortunately I never pulled the trigger. He got about three incheds wider according tot he trail cams from October pre-scouting. He never came back into the area. He also lost the splt tine but he was still heavy.Guess he will be even boigger next year.

@GENEPMC Oh man we know how you feel. One of the lands we have permission to use has a few good size bucks but one of them is a monster. Many locals there see it all the time, and my dad and his friends have seen it the past 4 years(and it was big then), but always too far for the bow. I had a chance on it last year, but didn't have a illuminated scope then and it was basically pitch black in the scope, I just couldn't risk injuring it and it getting away and dying who knows where..

I shot one the day before that weighed 280 and this deer was much bigger than that one. Wish I could have held off another day and got this one but it sure was nice to get him on video.
