HAHA, I GOT HOME PREMIUM INSTALLED THAN WENT TO ANYTIME UPGRADE AND GOT ULTIMATE FOR FREE!(had to go through bout 25 videos on youtube though for the key:D)
My gaming laptop default with Window 7 Home Premium and I change them to Ultimate so that it can support all function and don't have to think for any lacking of anything ....
"using you computer like your grandma does" lol.I use windows 7 home premium but thats all i need,i'm only 11 so i dont need anything like windows 7 profesional, and i got it for editing vids and thats about it (and showing it my freinds :D) so its really good so bye!
@xxTokioHotelxx12 yes it is but win 7 home premium is not good if you download game on win 7 home premium the harddisk will crash and you have to buy new computer i have this problem,so now i'm with win 7 ultimate and everything is fine so use win 7 ultimate!!!!
honestly windows 7 home is the best bang for buck, you don't really need the extra 35 different languages, bitlocker is a gimmick, and xp mode is useless now because almost all developers have support with windows 7 now. i have ultimate because i got it for $100 brand new sealed.
guys come on windows 7 ultimate is 100% is better than other editions it does worth buying but for someone like u guys just remove WAT or crack it and that is it u can use every feature of windows
dude, I hate how windows makes you pay for 319$ for the casing of the installation disc, you want Windows 7 ultimate for 200$ goto tigerdirect, type in windows 7 into the search bar, there should be a button on the page saying, "Building a PC?" itll also say save on windows 7, then there at the oem packages, youll never see the box you pay for anyways, and it's so bulky, this is jsut a disc and your activastion key, and tada, so much cheaper, by 100$
its now 200$.... :( i wish i got it before. Does home premium still have the same feel, look and speed as proffesional? i don't have much money to spend, so i think ill go with the cheapest one.
the screen that poped up once in a while was for you to improve your proformance. Cuz windows found that due to the fact that you were recording, if it went to "Se7en Basic theme" it would save you like 10mb ram that could be put towards CamStudio. I get the same thing when i try to play any game fullscreen. it has this "AUTO SET TO BASIC THEME." And sometimes can reduce lag
starter suks.. but you can have more than 3 programs opened... i have it.. but im going to change it to premium soon.. but dont go with starter.. but just to et you know on starter you can have more than 3 programs opened
Yeah But Starter Has No Good Features and you cannot change your backround or the way it looks so i still would recomend Home Premium 32bit. and it is not alot of money.
I'd Say Windows 7 Home Premium Is The Best Because Starter = Epic Fail and it you cannot change any backrounds and anything else. And you dont need ultimate because it is for high tech nerds so 7 premium would be great for anything like games homework etc. Good Luck With Windows 7!
notthesoccerkid I would recommend starter for NOBODY, professional for business people and home premium for family but ultimate is a waste of money unless you own a really big company and need different languages and to protect your files but there is software that can protect your files and most people don't need to change the languages :D
To determine the one you want, it really depends on what your needs are, and if price matters to you. Keep these in mind when choosing windows 7 edition.

if you are at home you better must get Home premium ! If you at work Install windows 7 Professional, If you work at home and work on same pc install Ultimate
Check out my video about it, but you can emulate Windows XP inside of Windows 7 for apps that don't work with Windows 7(very few, but maybe some older ones.)
Is yours Windows 7 Ultimate build 7600 I downloaded and bunt the full version to a disk and did a clean install from Windows Vista Business after it had installed I used 7loader to activate it and that's my story :D
i keep looking at your battery power while your doing the video. I was thinking.. when is your computer gonna shut down. Thank god you made it till the end ROFL

So what will the average schmuck (me) be losing from choosing Home Premium over Ultimate? I don't want to waste money on features I don't need.
I overheard that Ultimate had more security features, but I don't know about that...

windows 7 home edition is the best for gaming...
armenianwarrior301 2 years ago
they are all the same, so its no different
DavidPlim 2 years ago
windows 7 home premuim ( everything gamers need, DVR) costs "199.99$"
windows 7 professional (XP mode, network backups) costs "299.99$"
windows 7 ultimate (bitlocker encryption, added languages) costs "319.99$"
see the difference...? I just said that windows 7 is best for gamers cause gamers dont need xp mode or addded languages and stuff...
armenianwarrior301 2 years ago
