  • only in alaska!!!!!!!

  • I'll be *there* in my jacked-up '77 one of these days ~ guaranteed! When I lived in south Florida my truck was the only one which could get through our flooded neighborhood outside of The Everglades National Park. These trucks are built to last unlike modern transportation : P It's fun driving ours across the river & on our backwoods farm. Accidentally ripped the trim off, as it's rough/super brushy. Takes a serious licking and keeps on ticking (<--just like the Energizer Bunny) - YEE HAW!!!

  • Keep on filming how did you get your videos so clear on here? My videos have a slight blur for some reason

  • that truck sounds great, great video, that looked like way too much fun. But on the other hand it looks like there is NO room for error...

  • VA gets boren after awile

  • i wanna know where you guys are at. i have a 01 F250 lifted on 36's and i soo wanna run some of those trails. with yaw

  • ohhh man i luv the old 390 sound!! do you have headers on it? and is it just straight piped?

  • truck sounds great with stacks keep up the good work

  • WAIT ALASKA HAS TREES?! WOW GLOBAL WARMINGS A BITCH!

  • If you had a toyota youd already be at camp , sittin by the fire, sippin a cold one.

  • @mrsmelzbad By saying that you showed that you are not a real american. If toyota is so much better why dont you move to Japan?

  • where the hell do i plan on goin with tht quad tht u gotta go thru tht 2 get 2? lol and i dont get why ur buddies r so worried about rocks an hills ur n a Ford

  • 4 wheeler in back = plan b for getting stuck beyond limits lol

  • Nice run.

  • why does it keep dieing

  • Ha, stacks? Nice.

  • wrong in 1978 1/2 is when the square headlights came out. amd in 1977 they had different grilles and in 1973 to 75

  • ford truck with a raptor in the back, sweet!

  • awsome trucks

  • cdab1985, 78' XLT Rangers has square headlamps, the rest of the 78's has round.

    All 79's had square headlamps.

78' was 1st year for the front marker/signal lamp below headlamps too.

    Hope this helps. lol

  • @motleyphuckincrue Yeah you had to get the top package for the square lights in 78. The camper specials came with square light in 78 as well, thoes also got the big block too.

  • Awesome truck!!!

  • a buddys got a 76' built 460 500+ hp c6 9in rear 44 front aint broke nothin yet you'd be fine sweet trk tho love the oldies

  • Where you at in Alaska?

  • nice i like the stacks

  • actually 78 had square and round head lights..the first half of 78 had round and last half had square...i have a 78 bronco with square headlights

  • @swanty420 I believe the headlights depended on the trim package in 78. Customs got round and Rangers got square.

  • nicely done. The quad in the back probaly help. more weight on the tires. 79's have square head lights. before that they were round. Thats how you tell the year. cause the bodys are the same. only difference is the head light and maybe some crome. but thats about it.

  • Thanks! It has a 78 grill, 76 truck.

  • thats right 78 was the first year for the square headlights

  • @Alaskaforby4 where did you get the stacks and the exaust

  • @Alaskaforby4 Sweet truck and excellent videos but, that's a 79 grill, 78 had round headlights.

  • @CumminsISX Thanks!! Actually square headlights did come out in '78, they did still put round ones in the 78Customs though

  • @Alaskaforby4 Your videos are inspiring me to go find a nice old truck, I'd like to find one with a bad engine and a divorced trans and transfer case because I have a sweet Cummins ISB 5.9 with 63,000 miles on it that needs a home.

  • @cdab1985 that and the grill was different

    but it still bad ass

  • @cdab1985 well ford started making square headlights in 78

  • very cool truck, check mine out at (76 STEPSIDE ) it's the orange one I got a 390 out of a 67 mustang GT in it.

  • very nice, adjust those floats a little lower?

  • Dude that truck is sick as fuck!! Rock on Ford

  • what motor? 460 or old school 390

  • Its a stock 390, I could go bigger, but then i think i would just break more stuff, im already sheering axle shafts like bread sticks. and 76 is a unique year and all the stuff is dissapering

  • why is 76 a unique year? just wondering because I have a 76

  • cliffs arent frends with carbs lol

  • Beautifull truck!

  • That's how Grandpa used to drive the travelall

  • eh what you get under the hood? sounds beast i got a 78 k20 with a 350 i wan drop a 454 in it eventually

  • Bad Ass FORD!! I lived in Fairbanks back in 1997-2000 while in the Army. I think Alaska has the best off-roading out there.

  • 76 with a 79 front clip perhaps?

  • your all over it, how did you figure that out?

  • 74 through 77 used a different front clip 78's used the round headlights and 79's used square headlights same grill as 78 though

  • I own a 78 (made in Dec of 77) and it has square headlights! Wow these trucks are amazing and I still find a lot of them in the midwest! I climbed 6/7ths the way up 14,000 ft Mt. Blanca with my stock short wheelbase 78! (I got 1 dent and and curled the rear bumper turning around)

  • yeah they are pretty amazing trucks for sure. Its a 76, but someone before me put a 78 front grill on it.. I like both styles.

  • that truck looks and sounds so sweet

  • This is a very smooth truck, what all is done to it?
