Man thats crazy. You were competitive in H1 and H2. Im a semi pro in H2, and a Top 6 FFA player. You were competitive in Gears 1. Im a semi pro in that too. I just think thats crazy haha. But Halo 2 was by far the best halo in my opinion, actually my favorite FPS ever. I feel ya man about Halo being stale, even with all the changes in Reach it still feels like the exact same thing.

i just started playing my first halo game recently, halo 1 for pc. Its a fun game, im about halfway through the campaign and clocked in about 2 hours of online. Its pretty fun. But anyways, the way you feel about halo is the way i feel about JRPGs, i love rpgs but jrpgs are old news to me, wrpgs is a breath of fresh air for me and im enjoying them alot.

7:25 Its a map modifier. Trust me. I know my way around both the Crytek and Farcry 2 map editors ON THE PC. Those are both true map editors. Forge mode is a map modifier.

I've also said that I've always been a fan of cod, I might not play it much but I still enjoy the game series. Halo just got old to me, cod hasent had that impact on me yet. Yeah Halo 1 & 2 was the shit back in the day played 1000's of hours between the both and than Halo 3 came out and I was pretty excited for it but I lost interest just after like 2 months of play and of course my 360 took a crap... and Than now HALO REACH was announced and I am not going to lie I was about to buy my 5th 360 just for that game but after watching a few vids to try & convince myself to buy it I just lost interest again! especially with KZ3 around the corner!

@MrQuantumChaos If Halo: Reach was on the PC, I would buy it. It actually does look like the best Halo games so far. I recently bought an nVidia GeForce 9600 GSO, and I can play Halo 2 on highest settings, but I want to see that card REALLY flex its graphical muscle with a game like Halo: Reach.

Forge mode is a complete let down. All you do is move platform around on a pre-set map. You cannot sculpt the scenery from scratch like mod nations or crysis for example with their sandbox editor.

Sandbox editor makes forge look like doodoo butter. As far as campaign goes, i played reach for about 30 mins, and never went back to it, stale as hell. I played like 4 hours total online, its the same ol halo, shit gets old. I played for 4 hours and was beasting everybody. its a casuals game.

i have probably played halo 1 and 2 more than most 360 fanboys have. i would play halo 1 and 2 12 hours a day most of the time. but then 3 came out and i couldnt get the feeling out of me that its the SAME FUCKING THING. then ODST, and that was $60 for 2 maps i didnt have and 4 hours of gameplay. then REACH, and i need to play it, it looks BEAST. i was SO addicted to HALO i read every halo book at the time if 1 and 2 every comic, bought almost every toy etc. then 3 came and i sold it all :)

Forge is more off Forge 2.0 rather than a real map editor

its just easier to modify and you have more freedom than before,like you can phase objects together but by no means is it a map editor .
