It's sad that people just don't understand that went bailouts occur, the Fed prints more money and that money gets pumped literally into the market and raises the dow. The dow doesn't track equity, it tracks MOVEMENT. We haven't fixed any problem from 2008, a double dip recession is coming and will implode the US before may 2011. At this point the dow jones will equal 1/2 oz of gold (gold/dow parity will occur).

@Trox118 The double dip recession is right around the corner with the ending of QE2 and the contraction of easy credit. Then the new stock market crash will be the primary reason for the need of QE3 and additional money printing for the fed. We're already in a double dip in housing. And yes eventually the dow will equal 1/2-1oz of gold. Go ahead and doubt, I'll be right in the end. Get yourself educated.

@llmasterkll lol I believe you attached a negative meaning to my statement after reading your reply to an honest question I had. Yes, a double dip is likely, QE3 is likely, high inflation with no significant increase in GDP is likely... which is called Stagflation. These are all things I know and understand, I believe it is perhaps you who doubt me... more than I doubt you. My prediction, which mirrored yours has worked out great...

@llmasterkll at 24 years old I own 2 rental homes both of which have provided 120% cash on cash returns with cap rates over 15%, the 2nd of which I leveraged the firsts equity out to 100% finance the next, rentals have one of the greatest tax advantage presently for investing and are in extreme demand, I have been dollar cost averaging silver since 12 dollars an oz and am currently investing in the all to tempting low p/e of the financial services sector.
