@njugga By "live" I mean that he performed in front of a live audience (on an episode of the "Marc" show), rather than this being a canned studio video. All live shows during this era were required by the BBC to be lip-synched, so unfortunately the singing itself was pre-recorded. Tanx for watching, and I hope I was able to answer your question! XXXX

@PAULLONDEN if you cannot see or say anything good about Marc you're in the wrong place! and you're advised to keep your mouth closed .I'm afraid noone is interested in misplaced and out of contest comments i'm sorry.
@mymusic777ify Sorry ,I must've known that some here, only want leech comments, and God forbid, a dissenting opinion.I can see a lot of good in Bolan .I've got all his stuff from John's Children to the TANX album. And I'm probably not alone in my opinion ,he stopped selling records after '75.
@PAULLONDEN No need to be rude and defensive as well! You're entiteled to any opinion you like but noone really cares. Why keep his stuff and go on theses pages if you're opinions are that dissenting, makes no sense! Perhaps your focus should be on good things instead of bad. No artist will sell record 'till the end of time! but get your facts straight,he still sells records and it'll be 2012 in a short while!
@PAULLONDEN like i said noone cares,we care about Marc! He's still deeply loved and missed by many and new people join constantly.makes any man jealous grow up get over it!
It's very astonished to me that also young woman from today find him that sexy as I did nearly 35 years ago. Oh yeah, he had a smile able to fuse icebergs.
well i used to have the top he is wearing ,sold it for crap money to roz and com,and yeah i have a photo of me wearing it,rock on,so wish still had it ,i would never part with it again xx
There's nothing sexier than a man with a great sense of humor (and that giggle....my GOD!!!!) Yes, makes my knees a little jittery every time too. XXXX
Indeed, where are all of the Marc's of today???? I love his fashion sense and God, the way he looks into the camera! Just imagine if he was looking at you like that! I'd fall at his feet. :)
"Cheeky Monkey"...I think that is the absolute best description of our beloved Marc I've heard. (Sounds like something Marc could have written a song about, too!) Yes, I love his energy and sexiness during the '77 period.....AND his bare chest....yummy! XXXXXX
It does my heart good to see the happiness return to The Main Man. He definitely had a rough patch but was coming out on the other side with a massive magnetism and creative vision (ala "Dandy"). I love his smile and his laugh.....let's remember him THIS way. Tanx, dreamylady! XXXX
am 21 i think bolan rock i got tatoos of him with my dads name next to it my dad is mad on marc bolan he live and breaths marc bolanhe got sign lps by him so ride on bolan fan
Tanx for the lovely comment! XXXX I'm so glad we're all keeping Marc's memory alive and introducing him to new generations. I just watched "The Bank Job" the other night and was thrilled to see that the opening song was "Bang a Gong...". No doubt younger folks will hear it and want to know more! I know many kids hear Marc's songs in commercials and discover the genius that was Mr. Feld. Warms my heart a little.
Rock on, my friend and keep a little Marc in your heart! XXXXX
Tanx for commenting! I love Marc in his "late-era" period...gorgeous! Interesting that Bowie had a much later song also called "Let's Dance", huh? XXXXX

@lateinerin1 Adam Lambert is a close second. His cover of 20th Century Boy at St Agthne uax Fels in Canada Is really good.

I'll get slugged for this , but Marc stopped being cool after '74 (and that's stretchin'it).
Here he looks like a hopeless drag queen, still chasin' the teeny boppers.
Still..he could've (just like Elvis) had a second career glamming it down, in Las Vegas. Now he's just a warning sign ,for wearing seat buckles.

They are available on DVD, you may need a multiregion player, my computer will play some PAL dvds but not all.
It is very true that the beautiful Mr Bolan was one of a kind a bright magic little comet that blazed right on out of this world way too soon.
