Where are the Environmentalists on safe water issues? They don't mind us paying 4.00 plus for gasoline because they are against drilling, and they are shoving junk-science (global warming) down our throats.Makes you wonder what is their true agenda.
R/O filters are a very cost effective point source option if the quality of the potable water provided to your home is up to certain standards. If your hardness exceeds say, 200 ppm you may need a water softener, but that would greatly benefit your clothes and body washing capabilities. Use the R/O water for drinking purposes and take a mineral supplement to replace the trace elements you'll be losing from drinking totally pure water. This is the only option these days, PTO's are overwhelmed.
No sweat bud, I can also reccomend buying distilled water. Just use the mineral supplements.
I was a water/waste water treatment plant operator for thirteen years and an avid fresh water tropical fish enthusiast since 1968 so I do know a thing or two about water ;-)
The reason this stuff is in the drinking water is it is excreted into wastewater systems then run through treatment plants. A lot of these medications do not oxidize to stable compounds biologically in Municipal treatment plants. As more and more new medications are introduced they get through treatment and go into our rivers and streams. It would cost more to clean this out of our waters. Even at parts per trillion this stuff can effect you. Drink only well water not even bottled.
I quit drinking public water years ago when I found out about fluoride being dumped into it.I use fluoride free tooth paste also.Fluoride is a toxic waste.
I KNEW IT! The American people have been waayyyy too trusting of those who worship Mammon.

how about brushing them regularly and cut down on sweets. that is the proper way of avoiding tooth decay without fluoride

water distillation and reverse osmosis (costly) are our only options.

Thanks for the elaboration. For me as a renter they're off the table of options I believe, but I'll double check.

There are probably trace amounts of a lot of unwanted stuff in tap water all over and it's probably not going to get much better.

I thought the media was doing a good enough job brainwashing people. Shit time to buy a water filter, if it helps at all.
