Wow, looks awesome. I've backpacked Europe twice, but want to get more adventurous this summer. I got about 6 weeks - what do you recommend, South America or SE Asia? I'm similar to you it seems, looking for adventure, hiking, drinkin, and meeting people. Thanks man!

Spending about $300/month inclusive of all land travel/visas/etc. hitch hiking, sleeping in homes, only street food, although plenty of drinking and having a good time. Best thing I ever did, don't hesitate you just have to set out and do it... It made it easier for me as I originally set out for 1 month, but then I was always saying to myself, one more week, one more week. 18 months later I was still going.
