@rmiles01 Im not bashing the letter cams, I actually like them, but many say they dont perform compared to other cams like trick flow. And yes its all about the combo. Parts have to mesh together.

Ok you are running a Z-303 cam and for what I can see its fuel injected. how did you get it run did you have to get the computer reflashed?? or who did you get it to work?

They'll run without doing anything on a mass air mustang (87-93)......just not very well.

You can have a new chip burned for the stock computer....changes air/fuel ratios and raises the rev limiter.

If you make any head, cam or intake changes though you'll need to have a new chip burned.

$150 about 4 years ago. No dyno tuning...which is more expensive but can gain even more hp because the engine can be precisely tuned. I just got a chip based on my modifications and it also raised the rev limit.

The guy was on ebay. I told him my mods and he burned a chip. Works great.

My mods are pretty standard....AFR heads,holley intake, x cam, high flow exhaust so it wasn't that big a deal. If you have a blower or turbo you should have it dyno tuned....too many variables.

I can't remember his name for nothing. You'll just have to look around on ebay. It's been about 4 years so who knows if he's still doing it.

Try your phonebook too. Look under performance automotive and start callling. They might know someone local to you.

Also JET and Diablo make different stage chips but I've never used any of their stuff though. I don't think any of their chips raise the rev limit.

Nice switches and start button. I'm hoping to do the same thing with my stang once I get it going.
