If you destroy your scars when you remove them, you're doing it wrong... a Q-tip with 99% pure rubbing alcohol should get the spirit gum right off without affecting the latex. I've been doing theater and movie make up for 10 years and never once ruined a prostetic

@buttonupshirt That would be great advise if I was using latex. I'm not. They are the puddy mix that comes in halloween kits for $3. And yes, they will at least need remolding once removed, if skin and oil haven't ruined the tackiness of it.

wen ur done adding the black eye make-up u should use a scrape brush to scrape the make up on ur right eye(left eye from how i see it) up so it looks like its kinda flaming upwards same wit ur other eye except make it go down

1 Suggestion dont open the ridgid collodian untill the day of when you need to do the costume, My scars the first time I opened the bottle were insane! but after time went by (2 days) it lost its ability to make the scars so deep

easier way to do it, go easy with the black, put the white on ALL area's of face, do the scars like you did in the other video after the makeup, use lipstick for the surrounding area's of the lips, no white on the eyes, and get a curlier wig. They way you did it was great yes, but time consuming.

What is Spirit Gum?

@LBPJerryTheJoker Spirit gum is a glue for prosthetic applications. You can also use eyelash glue, however it doesn't hold as well. Spirit gum usually comes with the laytex pieces you buy at a Halloween store. It's usually yellow in color, sometimes clear and is a BITCH to get off if you don't have the remover.

Pretty fricken good, bit of advice though, the wrinkles need to be more noticeable, way too clean. instead of trying to crunch your whole face at once, focus on one area at a time. If you crunch your eyes nose and mouth, it flattens your forehead which isn't what you want. If the wrinkles are still not that noticeable, take a Qtip with rubbing alcohol, find your natural wrinkles, and follow along them like your tracing it. All in all a really good job though, Good work!!!

@BigBuulok Just easier for this video to do that and an easier clean up. Fake skin has the habit of falling apart after a half hour, but is fine for a quick clip of makeup.

tip: for the hair use cheap gel to slick most of it back (stop putting gel in at the top of your neck), leaving random locks and about half an inch surrounding your face, put conditioner in it and comb the hanging hair back with your fingers scrunching a bit, it makes it look greasy and wet but its not gross, i recommend a kid's conditioner if you're going somewhere where you might sweat If youre nervous about getting it in your eyes you can use leave in conditioner or vegetable oil
