  • Man I hate the songs the Beatles wrote about each other on their solo albums. So bitter and miserable to hear.

  • Great slide guitar on this one. One of his best. Excellent!!

  • I have always liked George Harrison's music. I got this album for Christmas one year when I was young. I wore out my phonograph needle with it. I have never seen it on CD. I'd buy it in an instant.

  • I know this song is about The Beatles breakup but it also seems relevant in today's North American culture, unfortunately.

  • @binstence I'm pretty sure Carole King or Goffin/King had nothing to do with He's So Fine. They did write songs for the Chiffons, But not that one. "One Fine Day". (another "Fine" song)

  • @jake1052003

Hey asshole. John's solo career < George's solo career.

  • @nafaidni First I had to asked what "<" meant, Then I had to find it on the keyboard. To say George had a greater solo career than John is not saying much. To say he had a great solo career is saying too much.

    Yours Very Truly,

    Asshole

  • i was the 11,111 th viewer. Great song. I love George!

  • 8986 people are living on a material world

  • @binstence Actually I think this was about the lawsuits involved in the Beatles breakup. The My Sweet Lord court case didn't happen until a few years later. George covered that in "This Song" on his 33 1/2 album.

  • Does anyone know if John is that other vocalist on SYSMB or if not, was he involved in any of the other "Living in the material world" tracks ?

  • @tenniscollector Misery loves company, but by this time John had enough of George Harrison who considered himself an equal to Lennon/Mccartney. Harrison was big phony and a hypocrite. Hire Krishna my ass!

  • one of my favorite songs of all time, my favorite beatle.

  • The truth was George wanted to leave The Beatles since 1966 (According to Olivia Harrison) but he stuck out with them because he was loyal, until things kept getting ugly.

  • Jagger circa '71: " I don't think the Stones will ever break up but if we do we wouldn't be so bitchy about it"

  • Jim's drumming is the glue in this song

  • great drumming by jim keltner!

  • How is it ironic? George's sarcasm is directed at the fact that the Beatles had sunk into litigation. There's nothing hypocritical about it at all.

  • It's ironic because he was the one who complained all those years for the Beatles to come to an end and here he is making a song, making it sound like he doesn't want to go through with it. It only took John's signature and for years he wouldn't sign the papers.

  • Yeah George was happy to get out of the Beatles, but merely being a solo artist compared with spending the next 20 years in court is very different....

  • @ManfredDeJesus Why argue with someone like velvetpunk4life? He doesn't know his anus from a hole in the ground.

  • ॐ
