PhysX mod is very gpu dependent,What graphics card you're using?,recommended is 8800gt but all the 8 series can do physx,,if it lags too much,try updating to latest PhysX drivers and Graphics drivers.

try searching Nzone website for Unreal Tournament 3,
Its there,maybe its under the "PhysX mod"...
