They kept the Flex for 7 Days! The paint did not match, and they said the headliner was not damaged enough to warent replacement. When will this end? The transmission is banging harder now, and i almost got in a wreak because of the brakes! They replaced both rear seat cylinders to lift the seats for third row access. Three days later, one failed for the fourth time! This is a 25K miles car that is very well taken care of!

Well, I'm dropping off the Flex for four or more days to replace the headliner that keeps falling down. The rear clips on the quarter panel broke and the bumper cover must be removed, painted, and baked to do it correctly. When will this ever END!!

FORDS, "FIND ON ROADS DEAD!!. Another month of numerous problems, no healp from Ford, And continued hassel. Not bad for a 2009 Flex with a sticker over $43,000.00. The new ones are even more. They should of taken a buyout from the U.S. and started making a high quality Flex that you can drive for more then 2 weeks without a problem! That's not to much to ask, is it?

My 21K miles fully loaded 2009 Flex has had the engine out 3 times, 3 transmission seals replaced, brakes replaced and still has a dangerous soft pedal, numerous trim and seal problems, and I have had a rental car 44 days already. A MI Lemonlaw Complaint brought a $500.00 offer from Ford to shut up! The complaint failed because no oil or trans fluid was seen on the ground, but the brakes were soft, and the seals sagging! Ford, FIX OR REPAIR DAILY! It does ride nice and has a lot of room though.

What I am reading between the lines here is that in order to run 3 shifts 24 hours a day 7 days a week they are requiring mandatory overtime of all the employees. The reason that they are competitive with the Japanese US plants is because their health and welfare and medical insurance costs are spread among fewer workers who get the piss worked out of them. Burning your workers out insures no one will stick around long enough to retire.

They say 20 MPG as if they are proud of that pitiful stat.

@RIEKSONE If what you are trying to imply is that the cost of supporting union benefits is unduly burdensome then that is wrong thinking. Working for a non union plant which has fewer benefits may serve the needs of the workers and community in the short run, but if that worker is insufficiently covered in retirement or sickness then that extra cost gets shoved of on the state.

The solution of course is for foreign owned plants to sign union contracts and compete on a level playing field.

It as close to Christmas time so it is good to believe in Santa Claus, personally I feel good too. Ford pick up so much for selling cars and do not use this opportunity to improve their quality, environmental, investing in the future.

I treasure my Ford Windstar van. I bought it for its five-star safety rating (since I'm a Mom), and OMG, did it earn those stars! It helped to prevent an accident that would have been so horrific -- if my Ford van and camping trailer hadn't leaped so beautifully onto the shoulder -- that a good many people would have certainly died, including my loved ones. Instead, the tractor-trailer + jumbo pickup head-on collision didn't happen.

Where's Henry Ford when we need him? America needs jobs!

We prey the Ford goes under and away forever. They are not covering their warranty problems on the 6.4L. They turn blame onto the consumer in order to cancel the warranty. Shameless company!  Nightmare to try to talk to Ford "Customer Relations" This it the worst American company! Don't trust them.

I owned a 88 ranger, 88 f250, 99 f250, 2000 f250, 2001 f250 and then a 2008 f450 with the 6.4L that they quit making in 2 years time. They had to sue Navistar International of it and the dud 6.0L. I feel they are showing profit at the cost of customers cutting back the warranty work on the crap they make. I was a loyal Ford customer until ford screwed me on my 6th purchase. Americans do not need Ford!

Yeah if you're reffering to the escorts, Aerostars, and all that shit from the 90's then I'll agree, but You need to go and try driving a FORD yourself. Try a Fusion and you'll see what you can get for less than $20,000.

Ford's kicking ass and taking names! They have a projected return to profitablity in 2011. All of their models are on the recommended buy list. GM has only two and chrysler has none to be found.

They are still negotiating the sale of Volvo but it will be sold in the next couple of months and Ford just cut it's debt by $8.3 Billion. Ford is in pretty good shape compared to GM and Chrysler. The majority of economists agree, from what I have heard and read by them, Ford isn't going bankrupt. For now anyway.
