Mickey was the key mascot for decades and is still instantly associated with Disney. However he is not blonde and skanky enough for the current youth, and therefore it would be foolish of them to try and push him on an uninterested audience...

Mickey seems to get really stubborn when it comes to a challenge. Whether it's Donald or Mortimer or even something as silly as a pinball machine. It's not even a new development. I read an old '30s comic strip where it's just Mickey constantly competing with a guy named "Kat Nipp" over a knot he put in his tail.

It's not often you get to see the assholish side of Mickey. YOu know you've really done something when you provoke the ire of Mickey, the textbook "Nice guy" archetype.

But the HoM shorts were brilliant. THey capture the feel of the classic shorts so perfectly, yet give it a contemporary feel.

THis show shouldve lasted longer than it did. Great tributes to the classics that older veiwers can appreciate, yet still fun for the kids.

@maniac989 Well Pixar is rlly disney's saving grace....i mean, when u ask most kids (who dont watch that disney channel crap) what they think about when they think disney, they'll probably think about more pixar characters than disney characters...Disney puts out a lot of crap (not all the time, princess and the frog was amazing) and no one rlly gets excided for their films. But Pixar has never made a bad film...sure some are weaker than others, (a Bugs life v.s. Toy Story 3) but ppl love 'em!
