@ou02nxs Thanks! Be sure to find a Bass Pale Ale on Nitrogen (also available in the nitro-cans) and drink one for me...It's favorite beer but can't get it here in US anymore. Boddington's is a fair substitute. How I wish the Bass in a nitro-can was still available.  Cheers!

The powers brewery one seems to be a broken link. I don't think it is something with your link . I googled it and the same thing. Oh well Beer Calculus seems to work . i use brew target . It is a little clunky but it is free and it works .

@orstk320 It does that once in a while to me when I try and access it form certain computers. You may want to try deleting your cache/cookies etc. etc.

@LongDogBrew Check out the trial versions before you buy...I like the free stuff for what I use it for. If I ever open up a brewery I will have to upgrade to one of the professional programs

I use beer calculus. A couple of their calculations seen to be a little off, but when you learn the quirks it's a pretty good little worksheet.

@hitau1063 Powers has some quirks too...but between both programs you can get a good idea of what you are looking at for a recipe.

Thanks for the tips . I've heard other brewers mention using brew calculators but they never seem to be specific about the ones they use, there features and why they use them thanks for sharing your insight. Thanks also for the tip on Brew 365 thats something that will come in real handy Cheers !

Beer Calculus allows for either, Powers does not have the option. Not sure about the trial versions...give it a try.

Great topic, thanks for passing along the brew365, looks like a good resource.

One of the free brewing software programs you can download, that I like, is Brewmate I like better than Brewtarget (which is another free download). Both are worth a shot trying out.
