I'm mostly a metalhead, but one of the things I've noticed about punk is it's definitely the people's music. It's not flashy or technical like metal. Punk is usually just a bunch of normal people playing simple, down-to-earth music for the masses, which is a good thing if you're trying to get a message across. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
