Kudos on the walkthrough. I both loved and despised this game. The atmosphere and graphics were great, but many of the puzzle solutions were too illogical. In a million years I'd never solve this without a walkthrough, and my bookshelf has tons of puzzle books on it.

To open the hibernation chamber, you can't just click anywhere on the screen. You have to click on the red or orange bars on the right side of the screen.

@l127l It was a 'red herring', the term is an expression meaning to lead attention away from the original topic. If you've ever watched the kids show 'Scooby Doo' the term comes up in context of someone planting a false clue to put the characters on a fake trail.

In the game it was just meant to be a joke considering the entire game is based on clues :P it has no use.

At 11:19 the cable appears PITCH BLACK on my screen. No discernible symbols at all. A fatal flaw in an otherwise top-notch game :(

I took a screenshot, opened it in GIMP and turned brightness to max, this way I could see the symbols: "MMC". In case anyone else has the same problem.
