All of these "Ventura-Switchfoot" put up by Lunaa3, have an exhausted, noiry-hair Foreman.

Some people say he's "hyper", "worn out", "really really tired".

I think he's super depressed. The black threads, the black hair, sort-of lackluster/tossed-around performance: it's seems to amount to gloom and despair, like he's throwing the towel in slightly.

If you look at his lyrics, it's not such a far-off claim. He was just having a dark time.

Any opinions? I'm curious what others might think.

It's weird...maybe this was a really off night or he was getting sick or something because when I saw them it sounded amazingly in tune. Then again, it was a one show only thing...so I blame fatigue.

I feel sorry for this guy. Without a sound engineer during studio recording, he sings way out of key. Don't get me wrong, bands can't sound exactly like they do on CD because of acoustics, but Jon should be able to hold a tune better than that live. Saw him at the Music builds tour. When all the bands came to sing the last song together, the sound technicians turned his mic down 1/4 through the song. Oh well....
