@KOSKESH43 They're both pretty close when it comes to power but if you're looking to build a car, get the GTO, it has more potential. Plus, out the box it's naturally aspirated. It doesn't look as nice as the Cobra though in my opinion. Either way, I guarantee you'll be happy with both.

Took ford (98,99,00,01.02) 5 years to beat a piddly 65 more cubes of the ls1 with 3 more cams ,16 more valves,and a supercharger. What an accomplishment. But i will try hard to have one of these cobra's some day. I did have a 95 gt it was family owned and inherited by me had 18,000 miles, very nice car but not something i would have bought.

A zr1 is absolutely no comparison or what so ever a fare match up in the straight lets not mention a hot lap. So we all know 2012 zo6 7.22 at the ring and 2012 zr1 7.19 at the ring.Tell me what a 2011 gt500 does, I couldn't find it. @suedepolo uhmm read again homo, the vette and mustang are modded the viper is stock. I can modd a cheaper car to beat the bugatti. It also comes down to the driver. And again i'm sure the rustang is running nitrous. You can keep the rustang I would take any viper any day !

@suedepolo Not a shitstang fan either and in todays world the real world the corvette zr1 beats every production car tested against except the lambo murci in witch case it only lost by about a tenth of sec in the 1/4 mi so get YOUR facts straight and the corvette about a 1/3 the price of a lambo so enjoy sulking in those facts for a bit.

@nonemc dont matter the rustang needs a turbo and the boost can be turned up on the turbo. They ran the zr1 vs the viper acr x vs the skyline around nurenburgring, and the viper kicked butt, didnt see the times for the rustang, oh wait they cant compete there. Sorry kido the viper is the better car plus its not a belly button car. You can have your rustang !

@nonemc Look at the lap times at the nurenbergring, theres plenty of videos, first place was the viper acr, then the vette then the gtr. To me the viper is the best, but I would take a vette way way before I would own a mustang.

@nonemc it takes time to get the bugs out of a car, the viper is new compared to cars like the lambo, ferrari, and vette, even the rustang has been around for years and they are still gettting the performance bugs and designe flaws out of those cars, trying to make them better with each year and style upgrade.I like the vette and wouldnt mind having one, but would like a viper more, vettes are like mustangs ,belly button cars, look at vettes at a car show , they look the same.

@MrRedskins0021 Yeah it actually was there kido, the Zr1 Vette is pretty damn old. I think it was around in the early 90's. Not like the Zr1 you see today, but that actually is a version of the Corvette C4, the zr1.

@216StealthSS a viper srt-10 would bend over and rape any mustang. shit a corvette would rape a mustang. fastest to slowest is Vette, Viper, Stang. You can't race a highly modified vehicle (Mustang and Vette) with a base line vehicle and expect anything to happen.

@nelaHnaVeiddE Whooped?...how so...it never even got a blower swap only cobra out of its sideview mirror...whooped is what the vette and mustang were starting to do at top end vs the viper. 20 years old but also has a 408 stroker that isnt 20 years old. the Old ZR1's are nice cars but run them stock and stock and that cobra that is a muscle car not a 2 door sports car will stay door to door with it and maybe even a little ahead. the stock 1/4 for the vette was 13.1 the cobra is 12.7-12.4

@packerdmohar1 Oh...so a 6.7L stroked vette vs a N/A 4.6 would be better?...Its the always coming of argument...the mustang lacks the displacement...so ford made up for the high revving mill with a S/C and 4 Valves...how is that not fair?...give the vette a S/C and the mustang another 2 litres (120 cubic inches) of displacement. happy?

what i thinks funny is a 4.6 liter sc vs. a old didge viper i think 8.0 right or maybe 8.4 cant remember but the stang won. the 03 04 cobras are beast the dude across the street from me has one. never see him take it out tho. they got like 4 stang gt total tho.
