  • now the enemy want to be your friend :)

  • city-states, pfft who needs them

  • I love how a giant nuclear missile only weakens the city.

  • I think it's bullshit that nukes only take down towns by half-health. If you hit a town with a nuclear weapon, that town is fucking DONE for. If you hit a town with a nuke, it should completely blow up that town (like razing it, it gets taken out of the game). It'd be a lot more realistic. Also it needs to have a bigger radius, and there should be H-bombs...=)

  • lol whats the original resolution of this video?

  • Whilst fishing boats are notorious for their capability to withstand heavy nuclear blast (much like roaches and small children from Bethesda games), the seamen however, are prone to major mutations-- the main causes for testicular cancer. Sadly, it is these 'inflicted' merchant boats that would return to Italy in 1348...

And thus begins our journey into understanding what became known as the "Sengoku Jidai" or Warring States period between Prussia, Jerusalem, and the New England Patriots.

  • rofl the fishing boat ....and the 2 birds still roaming .. it's like they threw potatoes not a god damn nuclear !

  • lol

  • *_*... Tan brillante...

  • Damn, those birds are atomic prove!

  • You maniac! you blew it up!! god damn youuuuu. god damn you all to helllll

  • hey man i saw both your videos...the atomic one and the missile...do you know what's the difference between 'em?.....

  • on civilization revolution , your game stops at 2100AD where does this stop you ?

  • How ironic is it that he plays japan

  • @9sado99 in WWII, the aotmic bomb was dropped from a plane. During the Cold War, both the US and USSR developed ICBMS - nuclear missiles that could be launched almost anywhere in the world. ICBMS have an extremely long range and can even be fired from underwater, by subs.

  • ouch

  • strategic launch detected

  • i don't get it there are nuke missiles and nuke planes? so what is the difference

  • @9sado99 Missiles have a range of 12, bombs have a range of 10. Missiles destroy everything within a 2 tile radius, bombs damage everything within a 2 tile radius. Missiles do more damage to cities than bombs. Missiles must be put on a nuclear submarine or missile cruiser or stationed in a city, bombs must be put on an aircraft carrier or stationed in a city.

  • @name887 thanks :)

  • dat shiny water

  • nice

  • Nice rendering. I Felt like I was playing the game.

  • At least make the water make ripples or something.

  • doesnt the fallout cause mutations with animals and cancer in the game?

  • Do that with mexico please

  • I hate it when you get to the tech that shows uranium on the map but EVERY other civ has like 6 uranium and you have none... 'in head' OH SHIT!

  • How to continue playing after 2050 in CIV 4

  • lol it only did like 5 damage less than a cannon

  • Can I has nukes?

  • hahahaha damn it, I feel like the general who launch the nuke in 1940's hiroshima

  • hey, it should be more devastating

  • do you knwo what those orange puffs of smock are because i never know what they are

  • @specops987 When you attack with a nuclear weapon in Civ V, some of the tiles around the city are turned into "Fallout" tiles providing:

-3 Gold, Production and food and -33% combat strengt for units on the tile.

    LOLOLOL KTHXBAI

  • IM IN A BOAT!!!

  • The fisherman looks at the city ._.

  • Well... there goes the neighborhood.

  • Those sheep are just chillin'

  • ok im buying a fishing boat!

  • Did... did that city just survive getting NUKED!?

  • @pmsherndon they must be russian

  • can you build your own palace ? that was the best thing back from civ 3 XD

  • @23Soundwavez xD haha i know right! sadly u cant do that :( still is an awesome game tho!

  • I know that in CIV IV you can have it set just to Conquest instead if finishing in 2050 AD can you do that in CIV V?

  • @Ratkill9000 Yes.

  • and the city is still there, and the people in the city don't even die from radiation poisoning. nice graphics but this is too unrealistic

  • ni idea nuking a city, I wonder where this game comes from to have such an idea...maybe from the only one who really did it, and twice...

  • Is this pre-patch or something? I thought all the tiles in the blast should be "pillaged" after a nuke goes off.

  • The "at war" music is so depressing

  • Nice but eh... I noticed the year it says 2070 AD, the game stops at 2050 AD.

Does this mean you can still play after 2050 AD so that I can destroy the remaining civilization's?

  • @TheWarPope The game lets you continue playing after you win.

  • @TheWarPope the game will let you play after you win but you can shut off the 2050 win by year in the advance options menu (uncheck time victory type) and you can continue regular gameplay after 2050. but the time\score victory would be disabled....

  • Yea that's wassup!

  • lol boat

  • WTF BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

  • I love how the fishing boat is like Pfft! Nuclear What???

  • @KlingonSpider Except the people on the boat are turned to dust...

Nuclear fission doesn't destroy buildings and structures...it destroys flesh.

That's there only purpose, and what makes them so evil.

  • @samuelrosenbalm They also destroy the paint on your car :(

  • @TheDpvpp LOL - thumbs up for you.

  • Obviously, the safest place to be in a nuclear attack is on a boat just off the coast.

  • @Cathain78

    No...Under ground bunker?

  • i remember in civ 4 there was a little smiley face hidden in the mushroom cloud lol

  • in civ4 you could see how much people live in each city, but now you can only see the total population. But it seems that the numbers are the same. So, if you want to know how much people a "9 Population City" has, just look in Civ4 if you have it.

  • why didnt it bring the city to 1 hp?

im able do destroy a city in one turn with the rocket artillery...

  • @troizy Higher defense and population values = more resistant to even nuclear attack. A small city you can take to ludicrisly low health with a rocket artilary and wipe out in a single attack with a nuclear missile (I mean totally remove from the board, just ruins). However, city-states are tough cities. The AI is probably programed to focus on defensive buildings because if you only get 1 city, you'd better be protective.

  • @swmaniac789

    yea your right

  • I AM GOING TO NUKE JAPAN IN A SHORT WHILE!

  • Breath Taking!!

  • I have it, but everytime i launch something, no one launches back...

I used to have full-out Nuclear wars on civ4. It went to the point that global warming occured on 20 squares every turn. Me, Montezuma, Hannibal and Gandhi were often the only survivors. (Mostly cause thoose idiots captured the iradiated cities...)

  • ooooooooooooooooooo

  • is it like in civ revolution where you only get 1?

  • @theworldisyettobe No, but you're limited by the number of uranium resources you have.

  • AWESOME. You took out 5 population from that city, half of its health (:/ It SHOULD have taken out more), irradiated most of the territory and would have wiped out most of the units caught in the blast. Nukes. Are. Awesome.

  • @swmaniac789 not in real life and i have a question is dat 9 the population and does that stand for 9 million

  • @btbilaal I don't know. I think it changes per era.

It doesn't make sense for an ancient city to have 1 million people. Esspecially less than 50 years after being founded.

  • @btbilaal It's 9 population as in 9 specialists.

I know your comment is 2 weeks old, but w/e.

  • ENEMY AC 130 ABOVE!

  • brings back memories of world domination...

  • i really wish they would bring this on mac, mac kicks pc ass in everything, but civ =(

  • @GenralosityXL Its coming to Mac sometime before Christmas.

"Aspyr Media, Inc. announced today they will publish Sid Meier’s Civilization® V for Mac, the latest entry from the flagship turn-based strategy franchise.
