Thank you for posting this very beautiful Song, I have been singing this for 15 years to my daughter, she was born in 1995,and my wife, her mom died at child birth, but not before holding and seeing her, its been a long road and this song has helped us over the years, again,thank you for posting,and may god bless you for it.

I, too, have been looking for this song for many years. I found a version sang by another person, but Dickey Lee is the best.

I lost my baby daughter in 1995 and this song means the world to me. I replace the word "Momma" with "Chanel". Thank you for posting this song.

I always thought of this song as a sequel to "Rocky" by Austin Roberts, which Dickey Lee also recorded.

This is a very BEAUTIFUL song, and one of the HARDEST to find...especially by Dicky Lee!

My baby girl died in 1975, and my son (4 y/o at that time) really took her death hard...I use to sing this song to him, but I put 'Sissy' in place of Mommy/Mama! Now, 35 years later...when my son sees Roses and/or Rain, with a sadness in his eyes he'll tell me "Sissy is sending us her love".
