Whenever I play this game, I always like to say for eg "I am going to attempt this game with Larcen.", "My first opponent is Trident.", "My next opponent is R.A.X.." and so on and so forth until then I say, "My final opponent is the Eternal Champion.".
I don't like the second game which is for the sega cd. It got overly violent for no real reason. This game is ok...But the second one (return to the dark side or something like that) is rly shitty.
Wow. Challenge from the Darkside, dude. It was as good if not better than the first. Whats wrong with a little gore anyways? I mean, ya gotta like Sega's attitude. Why it got so gorey was this parent whined about the Golden Shower fatality on Primal Rage for Genesis, so they took a game from 3 years ago, stuck some incredibly violent kills in there, and basically said,"There, bitch about this!"
I dunno man. Its too much like other games. I wanted them to stick with the interesting story lines and work a bit on the battling part. There was no change in the second part other than the fatality and a few chars. It was the same stupid thing. Thats why I got upset and said : Damn!! I don't wanna buy this game for the gore! I bought the previous one because of the overall!" Its only my opinion but I think they could have done allot better than that
It's got pretty much the same story line. but if it's not in your taste, It's not in your taste. there are things I would have changed in a lot of games. Starting with eternal champions cd, I think that instead of computer animation, they could've done an anime thing.

I could only ever past this game with the ClubMan, that is, the Caveman.
I got raped with every other character.
But for some reason, the Caveman's simple jump and club attack in the air killed everybody....
that last dude is hard, I had to kill him like 5 times, one as him, and four as the glass creatures and shyt!!!
Caveman was my favorite, cause he can throw someone up in the air and BATTERS UP!!!
as a runner up, i also liked the cyborg guy...lol

Larson and Xavier was my favorite characters. And out of all characters on the game, Shadow was the hardest to fight to me.
