  • Her technique is great, but there is room for more passion.

  • @Buondelmonte123 I think you are overreacting here. The China that you have in your mind happened decades ago. This isn't the great cultural revolution any more. Believe it or not, Chinese dance academies do place a great deal of emphasis on artistry as well as techniques. Just because it's not at a level that's comparable to Bol'shoy doesn't mean you can dismiss it. I really would like you to name me an example of "evil coach" and "little circus pony" that happened anywhere in the past decade.

  • @sugarsweet87 and, I can dismiss it, because, think of the future! This girl may one day become a coach herself and then what? The whole concept of artistry and expression moves further and further away from any real meaning. The Bolshoi is very good, but they don't understand Paquita that well either. Its the preservation of a style that I am most concerned for, it may be re-interpreted over the years, but it must always have a foundation to relate to. There's nothing of that on this video.

  • @Buondelmonte123

Interestingly enough, the masses disagree with your ignorant views.

  • @Buondelmonte123 That is a completely unnecessary comment. The dancer is a young student. You are just being horrid and you are completely out of line !!

  • absolutely gorgeous

  • not bad, not bad. she needs some work at the end of the variation, around 2:37, but otherwise it was good.

  • She is beautiful. I love the quality of the ronde jambe on her hops. "squeeze" i could hear my teachers say in my head. haha

  • You can tell when she is struggling because her arms instantly get stiff. Other than that, it's pretty good.

  • really amazing...!

  • From 1:56 to 2:26, the arms are just fantastic! They're so graceful and just beautiful to watch.

  • how old is she?

  • so clean!! she has a perfect technique and in the same way she puts so much feelings in her dance! love it!

  • this is my absolute favorite variation. My friend does it so beautifully. I did the one with all the grand fouttes... difficult, but not nearly as breathtaking

  • lovely technique.

  • so elegant ! my dream is to be this amazing. how old is she in this video ? her attitude turn is breath taking !

  • I agree with dbarn671: the music is almost excruciatingly slow. Otherwise, very nice indeed.

  • i took class with her!!!

  • her technique is so clean! she makes it look so easy!

  • beautiful!

  • Love dancer but I dislike when the music is slowed down for the dancer. This variation is a little faster normally.

  • Wow so pretty. I wish i could do this variation.

  • @westinsouth10 practise practise practise. Learning a variation is the best way to build your stamina.

  • why is the music so terrible ?? she's really good, clean technique, musical and great physique

  • her legs are sooooooo long

  • She's so artistic, and she's got great technique, too! I love this variation.

  • shes almost too thin...almost

  • She's beautiful ! I love her arms and musicality.

  • She was probably 17-18 yr-old at the competition. it is said that she was born in 1989. not official though.

  • she`s so skinny, has such long beautiful legs, how old is she?

  • lovely dancer, horrific music recording... she deserves the new york philharmonic orchestra

  • wut is her name

  • Junior division??!!! OMG how old is she?? AMAZING!

  • Bellissimo Tutù e bravissima ballerina!

  • wow, she is so natural and pretty, i wish i could have her arms, she is incredible!!

    exellent_!

  • Very good!! I just think she was a little insecure about the triple pirouettes, I think she should have done de double instead of it

  • i love her costume ! its beautiful ! she's beautiful!

  • wow!!!

  • She's beautiful! Who is she?

  • shes beautiful!!!! i could watch her forever. she has the most gorgeous arms

  • Her name is Zhang Yijing. She is one of the finalists (won scholarship) at Prix de Lausanne 2006. There are two clips of her dancing Grand Pas Classique and Don Q. Very lovely stuff.

  • oh shes so beautiful technically... i just wish she was more expressive... kitris character is so coquettish and vivacious, but you dont get any of that from this dancer. just toss in some attitude and she'll have it down. character on stage can hide a multidude of sins, epecially on someone as advanced as this dancer

  • This is Paquita... not Don Quichotte!!! nothing to do with Kitri here

  • haha wow i just realized i commented on the wrong video haha oopsss! thats embarassing lol

  • tutu is tootoo gooooorgeous! pretty good, but yulia m is my fav...but i am sure this girl will only get better and better

  • agreed. amazing. but she needs to feel and breathe the music

  • Yeah She is good and she got the technique but her "mood" is just so so..... She needs to listen/react to the music by her heart ....

  • she was alrie, how old is she???????

  • beautiful dancer... and tutu!!

  • i found she was a little stiff at times..took me away from her dancing.but otherwise she was good

  • her arms are amazing

  • shes amazing. her arms are soo gorgeous and shes got such a long line. the qualoty of the music hurts my ears, but i love this variation and doing it as well.
