@alb2493 exactly what it sounds like. The season is over for the time being, to pick up again after a few months. Generally happens around the holidays or summertime to allow for new programming or holiday shows to come in.

We all knew Shonda was going to kill Henry off. I just think that she should have given them more air time to tell a great love story. We never saw Teddy fall for him. And I feel robbed because she's a great character. I want a love story dammit!!

i think miss rhimes shown their love transformation when teddy finally realized that he is indeed love henry and not just a pity one for the health insurance, yet this was another danny/izzie tragic love story but it was a good love story for them.

@OohJoy It's because the actors want to leave the show or their contract was not renewed. It's not like they HAVE to kill someone to create drama. They have no choice.

@TheGmccoy they don't HAVE to kill them, though. izzie/katherine heigl left without being killed off. at least leave the door open for the actor to come back, even if they don't intend to. and yes, they do kill characters off to create drama. henry dying was all people could talk about the next day. it's just completely unrealistic that it seems like 60% of the character's loved ones are constantly dying.
