  • I got a glass vase and a bunch of black fish tank pebbles for it. this way I can always keep an eye on the amount of water in there... lol you'll be amazed at how forgiving these things are. If the leaves turn yellow, dont worry about it.. leave it be and let it do its thing. either remove it from the sunlight (if it has been in direct light for a bit) or double check to see if it has enough water. Ive never had to trim the leaves and its already grown 3 new stocks.

  • it growths better in the soil than in to the rocks or marbles

  • I love this beautiful plant and I've recently bought 4 branches of them . so they'll die if I keep them in water for long time . eh ?

  • I just bought 4 straight branches too! I love this plant.

  • No, I've kept mine in water for years. It's fine. The leaves have grown a bit yellow at the ends recently, but it is growing very well.

  • you can use dirt, but its slows its growth greatly!! its actually a water lilly so leave it in the water and it will do great
