  • Doctone! Get your shit in sync, man! Your clips are great... but they're also nearly unwatchable!

  • @MaggotBrain10

    Hahaha!

    Thank you for your comment.

    Nice to meet you ;P

  • ...but please don't remove your clips, Doctone. They may be out of sync but they're all we have. So thanks for bringing all the Sting fans these clips, but MaggotBrain's right in saying they need to be sync'd better.

  • @MaggotBrain10 hahaha Thanks for saying that! It needed to be said.

  • Sting is the best.... what more I can say.

  • excellent !!!

  • the girl was hot!!!! great album!!!

  • So odd not to see Sting playing the bass live on his own track.

    Mind you, she's lovely indeed...

  • then it's true, some comments told that 90 per cent of The Police is Sting himself... without the other two he managed to create some amazing music for us to listen

i still prefer The Police however, but this is awesome

  • Great version, YEAH !!!!

  • man I am thanking god for youtube, I am so digging sting this morning...

  • It is about his Mother dying. She kept herself alive by sure will for a long time. She had cancer. Sting lost both his parents wihin a few months of each other.

"Why Should I Cry For You" is about his Dad

  • WOW- I've seen Sting about 10 times in concert, but I've never seen him do Lazarus Heart- what an awesome song!

  • Sting is the best songwriter

  • This is such a fantastic song. I love it so much.

  • can any one tell me the story of the Lazarus Heart, is it biblical?

  • As I remember in the booklet of Sting´s album "Nothing like the sun" it says that this song bases on a Sting´s dream that he saw one night.

  • Ummm.... well Lazarus was someone Jesus brought back form the dead.

  • Good, solid performance anchored by J.T. Lewis's drumming, but listen to the original with Manu Katche on drums, awesome.

  • yes...i love Manu Katche style and his performance on this track was great. I like listen bass and kick drum!!

  • This song is truly timeless, having lost my mother this year, this song means a lot more to me now, a great song...

  • great performance, fantastic musicians, and a very good day for a concert ... sting is amazing ... gotta love the lyrics ... lazarus rose from the dead and so can we ... with the blood of the lazarus heart ... a heart that heals and grows and finds the courage to never stay closed

  • great performance, great musicians, and a great day for a concert ... gotta love the lyrics ... sting is amazing ... lazarus rose from the dead ... and so can we, with the blood of the lazarus heart ... a heart that heals and grows and finds the courage to never close

  • great show!!!!!!!!

  • This was the time when he really went out of his way to have an all black band. He probably thought that black people actually have a monopoly on soul.

  • Truly captivating

I've always liked this song,,,still have it on vinyl..

  • this song is amazing . . . GREAT songwriting and as always the best band playing

  • who's the drummer ??

  • Hi there.

    James Taylor Lewis on drums.

  • Thank you very much doctone !!! :-)

  • great band. may kenny kirkland rest in peace.

  • What a top dollar gig for Sting. Some top performers included in his entourage including the brilliant Branford Marsalis and Kenny Kirkland (RIP - why did you want to do a thing like that? You took your life away and our pleasure). Sting is one of the many gods of harmony and sounds. Thanks doctone for sharing this one with us. I'm so surprised there are many more comments for such an outstanding performance.

  • Yes,of course, a great song indeed!

  • Yea,a great song indeed!
