  • i want it.

  • I think I speak for everyone when I say:

    Awesomesauce!

  • why would any one attack in the future? doesnt that give your opponent the freedom to attack in the present, so he doesn't need to use chronoenergy? and even in the future you chronoenergy which gives you a disadvantage sounds like a throughly retarded decision to me.

  • @vtrash1 - Since there is time travel, if your opponent is vulnerable in the future, you could potentially attack your opponent in the future, establish a chronoporter, and chronoport bach in time to provide support for the attack in the future. Also, an attack in the future can be used to try to counter strategy of your opponent getting reinforcements from this time period.

  • According to the website it will come out 1/1/2011

  • in multiplayer, how could you know that your HUMAN opponent will be attacking you in the future??

  • @DPineda121 I'm confident it's based on the actions and order that have already been made.

  • so the game itself try to predict the future based on the enemy actions SO FUCKING COOL its like terminator and all that time travel bullshit

  • You guys should definetly bring this game to steam, it will give you access to alot bigger audience, i just discovered this by total accident.

This sounds very very fun, i love games with time travel! :D

  • I don't understand how the game knew there would be an attack in the future though. I completely get everything with going back in time, but not forward. Someone explain it to me?

  • Red told his units to attack blue. Lets suppose that it takes 5 mins for the units to get there and the timeline extends one minute into the future. 4 minutes later the units would be shown arriving at the edge of your base at the edge of the timeline. The timewaves propogate things into the future as well as the present.

  • Um, replace red with blue and blue with yellow.

  • if I got it right it basically computes multiple parallel versions of the game for each timewave, so the internal game speed is the speed of timewaves. You are just observing it at slower rate called present and can change things which will be applied by timewaves running "from behind"

  • multiplayer is gonna be awsome^^ And there gonna be so many kids who break their brains with it :P An intelligent people only game :D (like supreme commander^^)

  • This maybe one of the few games in which the game can flip to either side no matter what side is in full control in the present.

  • What the fuck does this have to do with Harry Potter?

Methinks you are butthurt because you don't understand it.

  • Enjoy your Halo

  • ManlytearsUK. Proceed directly to an hero. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

  • you're retarded.

  • those time jumps coulda been covered by a regular radar, i mean you could probebly detect them on radar and dont have to move in time just to figure out where they come from, it didnt seem like the time travel affected your fight at all

  • Radar has a range though. This doesn't.

  • yes, this is like wait til you get attacked or go to future to see where you get attacked from then build some defence, if this game has online, its gona get real messy

  • you dont get it, do you? -.- There were many matches in the Alpha version, I give an example:

Chris used a neat strategy against me in a memorable free-for-all game between him, Konrad, and myself. I launched a massive surprise attack on Chris's mining base, so he traveled back in time, prepared a large fleet to counter my attack and succeeded. However, in the present I acquired nukes and sent a nuke back to the end of the battle that destroyed his remaining fleet.

  • Before it was over, he jumped back further in time, moved his mining base and undid his counter attack. Since his fleet had left the area and my army had conquered it, my nuclear blast from the future decimated my own forces! Right at that time, Konrad came at me with his forces, so I didn't have time to undo my nuclear blast.

  • sounds cool.

    release date?

  • Not set currently, sorry :)

  • Why didn't you just change the future outcome in present to save chrono energy?

  • What.

  • Doing something about it in the present wouldn't of given him as much time to react and if the battle had already started in the present there wouldn't have been anything he could of done to get rid of the earlier damage.

  • After you make a change in the past, why do you put the game in double speed, why not just go to present immediately? That way you can start recharging energy quicker.

  • Well, yeah, but he wanted to build a coupla buildings first (if you noticed, that's what he did)

Though, why he didn't just give all the orders (inc. the buildings), and go back is beyond me. Probably for explanation purposes.

  • I think it is because him moving to the present acts as a timewave, so he will not have to wait for one to carry his changes to the present and propagating them.

  • Can't wait can't wait can't wait can't...

I KNOW! I'll travel into the future, buy the game, and then return to now and play it.

    [...]

    HAHAHHAHHA OH GOD IT ROCKS!

  • would be nice to get early demo downloads to try out, yall should consider it (partly cause im inpatient to get my hands on it lol)

  • Looks very impressive, can't wait to play the game!
