i agree that bluegill are great bait, but if you live where you cant use them i recomend the Matzuo quinate. i got mine at amazon.com for around 7 and a half dollars plus shiping. thats good for this type of lure, ive seen other bluegill imatators go for over 20. i will have a video up about it soon, if your interested please check it out.

Well biggest bass i caught which was 13 lbs was caught off a lil red rubber worm, but shiners have recently gotten into the pond and now its hard to catch the big bass anymore so now i must resort to catching these shiners which is really hard!!!! so thank u for this tip

We all know that nothing beats live bait, but it's just more challenging if you use artificial. Some people like that, it's more of a sport. If I was fishing to eat, I'd of course use live bait.

i live in maine and i use shiners i use a big hook like when you wacke rig sikos i use like 4inch shinners i let the swim arund no bobber onely if the there is alot of weeds on the botomto keep the just off it 10lbs test and a 5 foot 6 or 7 poll no wait cuzz the fish has wait to ive got my bigest fish like that 4lbs and 20inch

When I go fishin wit bluegills I toss em out leave bout 2 hours at night go back and I got a catfish or gar or bass except the time when the gar snapped my pole but I still saw how big it was it had to be 12 pounds and I was usin a little pole wit 7 pound Lin it was so freaking funny

but you dont need most of the tackle he listed..

all you need is any kind of weight as long as its not too heavy and a worm hook could work.. just hook the blue gill threw the top and throw him out there.
