When Jesus died on the cross, he said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Thus, on the cross, Jesus asked God to forgiven even those who did not believe him and who crucified him.

It is my theological view that forgiveness of sins is through the blood of Jesus, but good people all religions may be forgiven by the blood of Jesus.
