You can t get 750hp from a 5.4l most you can get is 725 with a supercharger fully built engine there are 3 diff types 605hp-725 depending on the supercharger if a 5.4l triton can do that of course a chevy 350 could its bigger idiot 350cu and the stupid 5.4l triton 330 cu and thats a car not a truck there is a truck in this vid and trucks are way heavier ihave 4 chevy and 2 fords 1 dodge they could rape any of your shit any day!

I have a 2006 F-150 Supercrew with a 5.4 L Triton. I just put a Cherry bomb extreme on it, kept the single pipe for a more stock look, and it is still louder than Chevys I see with true duals. Chevys just suck in general. You know there is a problem when you see a Chevy with a headlight out and still see the dealer plates on it. The way i see it is that every person likes one or the other. its a personal preference. Dodge, Chevy, or Ford. They are all great trucks and all have great engines. Personally i dislike dodge because everything is so cheap on them (in my opinion) but always have been a chevy man. Love my 94 gmc sierra! I want to try a ford to see if i like them. I like the chevy model a lot but I'll try something new!

@GrantChampionTV i have the exact same truck, and personally i like my borla exhaust.. but for the money i think that the flowmaster cat back with super 40 mufflers is at least close to what youre looking for (almost 1/2 the price of my borla)
Ford actually owns Cummins, but Dodge has the rights to its still because that was part of the deal when Ford bought it. The Ford 6.7L and Cummins 6.7L are completely different motors (one is a V8 and the other a straight 6). As a auto tech in a private shop I work on all types of vehicles and every one has their strong points and weak points. The fact remains that Ford does build the strongest chassis and one tough motor. I drive a Ford and wouldn't trade it for nothing. Check it for yourself.

Yea FORDs for POOR PUSSYS cuz they tow more and can overall handle much more than CHEVYS aka a part of GOVERNMENT MOTORS and they do it with a simple triton 5.4l V8 its sad that chevy can barely compete in and working mans world with even the higher liter models and they DIDNT take the bailout. I respect peoples decision to purchase whatever truck they want i just know that when i put 200,000 miles on a ford truck it will live to see another day. Chevy is for people who like to work on things themself because they are easier and cheaper to work on but i personally like to buy it and drive it and work it hard and never have to touch a thing because it was done right to begin with. @bcjt010 i was driving a 2005 escalade but the tranny started slipping just this year and i don't drive it hard and it only has 126,000 km on it but i'd rather drive a 91 jeep xj, nothing better than taking it out and getting a little mud on the tires lol
@bmxer14 Honestly i only own a 2008 F150 single cab with the 4.2L V6 but my dad has had multiple V8 F150 and Triton V8 F150 and has ran all of them around or over 200,000 miles with no problems. @lespaul12001 yeah thats why my 03 f150 has 350,000 miles and is on the original motor and trany, not to mention only changed the spark pluggs once. FORD all the way, chavys look cooler but suck compared to f150s performance, i mean look at how many f150 there are on the road, compared to silverados.

@bcjt010 Ford just put out 4 new engines, one is a 3.5L V6 with 365 HP and 420lbs of torque. That is more then anything Chevrolet has out, and it already returns a damn good fuel mileage rating. They brought back the Ford 5.0 V8 as well, and the biggest V8 the 6.2L Gas in the F150... Ford has been stomping chevy for years in the Off Road department. A Z71 2004 vs a 2004 Ford F150 FX4 off road will lose out, and towing sorry but my dad owns an 04 Silverado and it sucks compared to my 04 Ford f150

@mysticalfirelord Thats pretty funny because the 3.7L base model motor for the F150 thats came out, has 310HP.... The 3.5L has hp and it doesn't matter how it got it, its the fact that the motor can handle the abuse. They got 4 new engines. The 3.7L, the 3.5L, the 5.0L, and the 6.2L V8. All push way more HP at the rear wheels then anything GM has.

If you have a 4.6L or a 2V Triton then yeah a silverado may be out doing it in the mountains, but the 5.4L 3V defiantly win everytime mountains or no mountains. As far as new vehicles go... The new 2011 Ford F150 has a V6 that will leave the Vortec sitting in the dust, even though the 5.4L Triton already did this. Dodge just cannot pull... I am not a fan of their laggy throttle response, and GM the pedal always has to be matted.

@heymallory Well I don't read diesel power because most of the time they favor chevy JUST SAYING.. I read consumer reports PLUS a few other diesel magazine and the results did not match that of the diesel power mag. The 6.7L is far superior to the duramax. It wins in horse power, and it wins in towing. I just got me a brand new Ford 2011 Super duty. Ford gets my money again. Not GM, nor will it ever. This is why Ford will be ontop and stay on top long after GM is gone.
@heymallory I also read the article... but being a long time diesel fan like myself I will also note that I own a company in the area of Indiana, we as a company haul a lot of our equipment and trailers with these trucks. We have 3 brand spanking new GMC's with the new duramax in them, all 3500's crewcabs, we have 3 new fords same thing as the one used in the diesel power review. We've put quiet a bit more miles on each truck, and all the drivers state the Ford pulls better.
@heymallory on a side note besides that. We've had several issues out of our GMC's that required them have some warranty work done, which is fine, except we've put far more abuse on the Ford's and haven't torn one up. Besides the fact that even as the diesel power mag shows, there is no tuner applied to either truck, nor is the different in numbers to matter a hill of beans. 10 MPH difference? Most of these are limits set by the computers on the truck, to keep some idiot from tearing it up
@heymallory Most people who have a 18 thousand pound trailer in tow behind them are not flooring it up a mountain. Which we have found the GM's we have to be much for fragile at work. As far as I am concerned with numbers as small as this, which by the way Ford offers a 4:56 axle ratio which gm does not, its still not worth down grading the hideous look of the new Chevrolet. The 04-07 grew on me over time, this one has not, and it will never grow. Its ugly.

You can t get 750hp from a 5.4l most you can get is 725 with a supercharger fully built engine there are 3 diff types 605hp-725 depending on the supercharger if a 5.4l triton can do that of course a chevy 350 could its bigger idiot 350cu and the stupid 5.4l triton 330 cu and thats a car not a truck there is a truck in this vid and trucks are way heavier ihave 4 chevy and 2 fords 1 dodge they could rape any of your shit any day!

I have a 2006 F-150 Supercrew with a 5.4 L Triton. I just put a Cherry bomb extreme on it, kept the single pipe for a more stock look, and it is still louder than Chevys I see with true duals. Chevys just suck in general. You know there is a problem when you see a Chevy with a headlight out and still see the dealer plates on it. Haha Built ford tough for life and will never own anything else

The way i see it is that every person likes one or the other. its a personal preference. Dodge, Chevy, or Ford. They are all great trucks and all have great engines. Personally i dislike dodge because everything is so cheap on them (in my opinion) but always have been a chevy man. Love my 94 gmc sierra! I want to try a ford to see if i like them. I like the chevy model a lot but I'll try something new!

Ford actually owns Cummins, but Dodge has the rights to its still because that was part of the deal when Ford bought it. The Ford 6.7L and Cummins 6.7L are completely different motors (one is a V8 and the other a straight 6). As a auto tech in a private shop I work on all types of vehicles and every one has their strong points and weak points. The fact remains that Ford does build the strongest chassis and one tough motor. I drive a Ford and wouldn't trade it for nothing. Check it for yourself.

FORD all the way, chavys look cooler but suck compared to f150s performance, i mean look at how many f150 there are on the road, compared to silverados.

@bcjt010 Ford just put out 4 new engines, one is a 3.5L V6 with 365 HP and 420lbs of torque. That is more then anything Chevrolet has out, and it already returns a damn good fuel mileage rating. They brought back the Ford 5.0 V8 as well, and the biggest V8 the 6.2L Gas in the F150... Ford has been stomping chevy for years in the Off Road department. A Z71 2004 vs a 2004 Ford F150 FX4 off road will lose out, and towing sorry but my dad owns an 04 Silverado and it sucks compared to my 04 Ford f150

The 3.5L has hp and it doesn't matter how it got it, its the fact that the motor can handle the abuse. They got 4 new engines. The 3.7L, the 3.5L, the 5.0L, and the 6.2L V8. All push way more HP at the rear wheels then anything GM has.

If you have a 4.6L or a 2V Triton then yeah a silverado may be out doing it in the mountains, but the 5.4L 3V defiantly win everytime mountains or no mountains. As far as new vehicles go... The new 2011 Ford F150 has a V6 that will leave the Vortec sitting in the dust, even though the 5.4L Triton already did this. Dodge just cannot pull... I am not a fan of their laggy throttle response, and GM the pedal always has to be matted.

I read consumer reports PLUS a few other diesel magazine and the results did not match that of the diesel power mag. The 6.7L is far superior to the duramax. It wins in horse power, and it wins in towing. I just got me a brand new Ford 2011 Super duty. Ford gets my money again. Not GM, nor will it ever. This is why Ford will be ontop and stay on top long after GM is gone.

@heymallory I also read the article... but being a long time diesel fan like myself I will also note that I own a company in the area of Indiana, we as a company haul a lot of our equipment and trailers with these trucks. We have 3 brand spanking new GMC's with the new duramax in them, all 3500's crewcabs, we have 3 new fords same thing as the one used in the diesel power review. We've put quiet a bit more miles on each truck, and all the drivers state the Ford pulls better.

We've had several issues out of our GMC's that required them have some warranty work done, which is fine, except we've put far more abuse on the Ford's and haven't torn one up. Besides the fact that even as the diesel power mag shows, there is no tuner applied to either truck, nor is the different in numbers to matter a hill of beans. 10 MPH difference? Most of these are limits set by the computers on the truck, to keep some idiot from tearing it up

@heymallory Most people who have a 18 thousand pound trailer in tow behind them are not flooring it up a mountain. Which we have found the GM's we have to be much for fragile at work. As far as I am concerned with numbers as small as this, which by the way Ford offers a 4:56 axle ratio which gm does not, its still not worth down grading the hideous look of the new Chevrolet. The 04-07 grew on me over time, this one has not, and it will never grow. Its ugly.

I had Chevy, and none of them lasted this long. In fact I have drag raced chevy. In one season the motor had to be rebuilt 4 times. I got a Ford, motor lasted 3 seasons shifting at 7200 RPM's. Thats an opinion not a fact. I got a 1979 Ford that still runs and drives, has originally tranny, and motor never been rebuilt. It has 700k miles on it. I have a 97 Expedition with 400k on it. My 2004 Ford F150 has 240k on it. Fords are heavier because the metals they use is stronger.

@bcjt010 for one thing.... fords arent for porr pussys... because base to base the f150 costs 2200 more.. though options are more expensive on the chevy... now.. the chevy can out haul.. not by much.. but it can.. it also has almost 2 seconds less on its 0-60 time... the f150 is a pain to haul with through west virginia, northern virginia, and north carolina... but if you really want a good truck.. go dodge, if i had the money, my f150 would be in a lot some where..

@tacoman375 Do you mean truck engines or in general? Because the new 6.2 Ford V8 is supposed to put down tons and tons of power. I mean don't get me wrong, one of my altime favorite cars is the 2002 Pontiac Trans Am with the LS1 Chevy engine, but in all honesty it seems like Fords newest vehicles are really putting more power out than it's Chevy competitors. (not including the ZR1's engine because at the moment Ford doesn't have a competitor to the ZR1)
