They have everything a team needs. A deep threat to stretch the field, a sure handed tight end, and guys who go over the middle.

Rodgers also has a much better running game, so defenses can't blitz as much, or they risk getting burned up the gut.
We saw what happened in 2007 when you give Brady weapons like Moss, Stallworth and Welker. That was a badass receiving corps. They don't have anything like that now!

It amazes me how well Brady plays when hurt. He was on the injury report for years I think with some issue with his non throwing arm (got taken off it last couple of years). He seems to have issues with it a lot. But he could end up as the best qb of all time, when he is hurt (at least according to reports) all the time. I think he could have played with that knee injury he had in 08.

Clearing it up: Pats D is last in the NFL statistically in just about every way but 1. Their points per game allowed is in the top half of the league. They let people move up the field until the red zone, where there is usually a successful field goal attempt. BTW, I'm a Pats fan

Hell, just give him a Marquis Colston or a Vincent Jackson, and he'd put up huge numbers.

Jerry Rice, the greatest wideout ever, sat down with Chris Berman and Tom Jackson and had this debate back in September. All 3 of them agreed that Green Bay had the best receiving corps in the game today, and this was before the season even started.
They have everything a team needs. A deep threat to stretch the field, a sure handed tight end, and guys who go over the middle.

@gtownhoyasdude They have a number 2 AND 3 receiver that can exploit 1 on 1 match-ups, and when Jennings get's double teamed, Nelson, Driver, and Finley become that much harder to cover. Rodgers also has a much better running game, so defenses can't blitz as much, or they risk getting burned up the gut.
We saw what happened in 2007 when you give Brady weapons like Moss, Stallworth and Welker. That was a badass receiving corps. They don't have anything like that now!

Pats receivers are not bad- their TE combo is the best in NFL. People shouldn't have passed on Hernandez because he simply isn't prototypical size- he will have a great career
