this is really good league .. mcman could have been doing somthing like this with the xfl but he took to far.. but this is like our own nfl eroupe giving the players a second chance i support it
@twittersgay have you even looked at the talent in the ufl? Jeff Garcia, Dante Culpepper, Andre Dixon, Ryan Perriloux.. the list goes on and on. Even Lorenzo Booker played for Hartford in this league during the 2010 season before being drafted back to the NFL by the Minnesota Vikings. Now Lorenzo is one of the best kick returners in the NFL. You have to watch a lot of UFL games before you start making judgements like this
@steventucker80 Dante Culpepper is a shadow of what he used to be. Jeff Garcia is a 2nd rate QB. I don't need to watch the UFL. I have seen most of these guys play in the NFL.
@Epica124 To be honest I don't watch UFL anymore. they've made a lot of stupid decisions lately, one of them being suspending my hometown team, the colonials
i like sports on a small scale. awesome for the fans and awesome for the players. UFL is GREAT in my book. give people a chance to see pro football at reasonable prices and players have more options and opportunities to further their career and better themselves. all in all, just another way to enjoy the worlds greatest sport, football.
I'm all for it and all, but dear Neptune, please come up with better names!!! I felt like I was watching those customized teams on Madden. But other than that it seems really cool.
@bigfellakid i think the names are pretty good. remember, the fans are given 5 or 6 names to choose from, and they vote on which one it's gonna be. i think this is one of the reasons why this is such an amazing but overlooked league
@steventucker80 I like the league too, I just thought the names were different. Didn't know that about the fan things though... Thanks for clarifying that. I have respect for that and stuff
@bigfellakid yeah that's why i think its interesting that more people aren't fans of the ufl. fans are a first priority of many teams including the one in my state, the hartford colonials. you can even go to practice and they'll give you an autograph if you want. it's a shame all the teams besides omaha aren't selling out their stadiums for games
@bigfellakid i got two tickets in the fourth row for a colonials game for $20 or $25 or something like that. it's nfl caliber football at a fraction of the price
UFL Best league around.. You guys should do what the CFL does every week put up Player of the week. Best Catches,Hits Etc. That would be awesome. Also do like blogs kinda like what Dana White does for the UFC...Shows us the stuff behind the scenes and up close..
@HybridD91 None, but almost every player has NFL experience and or has played major college football. I'm guessing since your asking this, you could not make it.
It looks way better than some bad attempts like the XFL. The cities seem well chosen and the league could probably be as successful as the USFL back in the 80s. But why trying to compete wih the NFL directly? Why not starting earlier than September? And what about those ugly jerseys :)
@sdkintheusofa the NFL has actually endorsed the league they even got 43 players frrom this league last year j.p. losman last years starter for the locos is has gone back to the NFL and is playing for the raiders so they are not competing but they are more or less complmenting them
The UFL indeed is a great alternative to the NFL and is so good for the fans. I would love to see this league expand so much, maybe get a team near my hometown (there are no teams anywhere near wapakoneta, ohio) and so the UFL needs to keep doing what they do, go Mountain Lions!
@cavspunk08 Don't I know it, then everyone will be knocking down the UFL's door then!! Maybe not the big money guys, but definitely the role players who just want to go out and play no matter what. Anyway, I am happy the UFL is back and unlike Marekmazurkiewicz, I think it will still thrive in two years because these guys are a little smarter than the USFL, WFL and XFL guys.
Nicely done.

@HybridD91 none. you just have to have a lot of talent man. you can do it with hard work. there's a lot of NFL veterans in the UFL though.
