@HelenaRivas hello hmm I didn't quite understood what was your question.. :D Different alphabet and characters in english and in greek.. if someone already knows greek then he has to study the different characters and letters of course... :)

We're not saying you're not Greek. We're saying that you're English. If you're such an ethno-centric racialist I think it's time for you to move "home" to Greece where you belong. I give you a couple of months before you move back. :)

"Your people." Looooool. I find that ethno-centricists are usually the most racist ones. And you certainly prove me right, damn racist. Sweden does not have even close to the highest suicide rate. Guess you believe too many rumours and don't read enough fact. The ex-soviets have the highest suicide rates and the Swedish one is about average. ;)
you act like ethnocentrist is an insult.....greeks are proud to be ethnocentrists...this is why we dont have out of countrol immigration problems like the rest of europe...pretty soon sweden will be all arab and muslim....thats what you get for your "open mindedness" .......what a load of shit!
Ethno-centricism and religion is the cause for nearly all conflicts in the past (conflicts about $ being the exception). And lol, you realise that if Elena's family had not IMMIGRATED to Sweden she would not have been the person she is today? Probably wouldn't have gone into music, especially not the Swedish-sounding pop that Elena is known for in her Antique days.
I love people with double standards. It's ok if Greeks migrate all over the world but not if people migrate to Greece? Ahaha. Soon the EU will have a common migration policy which will allow more workers into Greece. =) Personally I prefer people who want to enter my country to those who choose to leave it. But maybe that's just me. ;)
ok, well when you have mosques everywhere and your entire culture is stripped away and replaced by arab and pakistani culture we will see how open minded you are....
and don't forget that your language is what it is because of OUR language. swidish originates from ancient greek pronanciation only with latin letters.
there is a difference between, being ethnically english and having english citizenship....a person from africa might be an english citizen but can never be "english" if you know what i mean.
Helena Paparizou, born 1982 in Sweden by Greek parents, won the Eurovision song contest in 2005 with the song "my number one". With her former band Antique (Nikos Panayotis) she already participated for Greece in 2001 with the song "(I would) die for you", which became third. Her albums, that all reached gold or platinum status in Greece, also get to high positions in the charts of her home country Sweden.
How du you say like: "what is it?" if you want to ask somebody what they want. how du you say that in greek? thats what i want to find out =) since I dont understand the greek script. please type it in with roman latin script (on out keyboads) thanks^^
I am Polish but I also speak Greek at a basic level, so I think I can help you. However, I'm not still sure if I understood your question in a right way, so I give you 3 answers. "What is it": Ti ine afto?. "What do you want(from me)": Ti thelis (apo mena)? "What do you mean": Ti enois?

In Swedish? Well, I'm not good at Swedish accent. She is from Gothenburg and they're supposed to have a different accent. But she might as well be from Stockholm as far as I can tell. xD She has a very standard Swedish accent, anyway. As does the interviewer, Jovan, whose parents are from Serbia. ;) Some second-generation immigrants do have different accents because of segregation and isolation in immigrant communities. Neither of these two do. They're completely fluent. =]

there is a difference between, being ethnically english and having english citizenship....a person from africa might be an english citizen but can never be "english" if you know what i mean.

P.S It's all written fonetically.

She was born in Gothenburg, Sweden to Greek Parents. I think she has a typical Swedish accent, that you can tell she is from Gothenburg.

hon kommer från Göteborg men hon kommer också från en grekisk stad som heter Karditsa!

she speaks fluently swedish :P Helena is awesome ;)
Sizzonz0r 3 years ago 4
does she have a big accent???
Nonny90 3 years ago
