lol- I watched it in London in 2000 -It was quite good though actually, a lot of brilliant physical theatre!- a lil story for u -Ben Elton signed my programme and andrew Lloyd webber ran away from my class looking moody!
Its more about the problems between protestents and catholics the football is thing they use to bring everyone together and also how they show divide between the two religions.

Oh... One of those isues how boring thanks for information I think Andrew Lloyd Webber is running out of ideas after "The Phantom Of The Opera" How very sad no wonder Sarah Brightman moved she got bored
Well you're forgetting that his biggest hits were all sampled.. Memory from Puccini, Phantom from Pink Floyds Echoes, and even Music Of The Night is said to be sampled.
Echoes and Phantom sure sound similar but the parts before and after is really different and still it's just a chromatic scale - nothing unique... Music of the Night is 2 or 3 bars with the same melody as a Puccini song. Nothing else. Memory I don't know about though. But I remember reading something about it in the John Snelson book about ALW with an explanation of not only Memory but of many other songs that are similar to others. Including Phantom and MotN
Now Love Never Dies is the exact same tune but there's a reason for that... it's the realization of how this tune was supposed to be used in the first place... still kinda funny.
@Viktor2991 Memory was originally written to be in an operetta about the lives of Puccini and a rival composer of the time, so little wonder if there is a Puccini style to it. The operetta was one of many abandoned ideas by Lloyd-Webber and the tune was used in Cats. NALW also says that the Beatles and Puccini are two of his favourite influences.
This is not 'Our Kind Of Love'.
Without knowing the translation it can only be 'Heart is Slow to Learn' or 'Love Never Dies'
