It was good altogether, but bassoons, watch your tuning in the 2nd mvt. I played this in symphonic band and my band director would stop rehearsal if we bassoon players didn't play in tune.

Indeed the trumpets are quite loud at the solo part, but still, the song is cool. I seriously got ones across the board with this one. I'm a tuba player, so you can count on it.

gah that trumpet is to freakin loud in movement 2 its a lament your so post to play sweet tones not blast over the rest of the band, keep balanced

The trumpets are really to flipping loud when the tubas are playing in the beginning of the Lament! U cant even hear the tubas! BRAVO BASSOONS!!! U WERE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i play bassoon to and for the ISYM band camp 2009 at the U of IL we played this trilogy and there was 4 bassoons so you could really hear it in our recording! It was really fun to play this song!!

You guys really need to imrove. I have judged this song at Uil and other competitons. The dynamics are off no cres. really bad you didnt follow the directer it needs to improve a lot seriously don't think that was amazing it wasn't
