i agree this is a great wheat beer but personally i like franziskaner more i recomend you try it alot more bannana comes through great review keep drinking man great reviews
Weihenstephaner is absolutely excellent in this style of beer. If you have the chance, try their 'Vitus' weizenbock too. It's even more complext and great.
maybe i didn't understand ur style, but it seemed like u were trying too hard to like this weissebier;compliments seemed to b "left handed" & stopping & starting of speech pattern seemed like u were forcing the positive remarks.
i love this weissbier.bier from this brewery r drunk @ my place @ least 250 days a year.
@qchome - Hefe's are certainly not my favorite style of beer, so maybe that had something to do with my demeanor. Who knows? But I do really like this beer a lot - and as I said it's the best I've had from the style.
i'm shocked you used a tumbler for this beer. But you did make a point of getting the yeast out of the bottom which is how a beer like this should be drank.
Closest to American hefe? odd. I find the german hefes to be way more intense in flavor than American wheats which tend to be flat and watery so as to be drinker-friendly.
I was surprised you didnt mention any banana or clove flavors.

@TakeSomeAdvice - No I was not drinking it warm. I was drinking it between cool and cold. Probably around 48 - 52 degrees-ish.
