This looks surprisingly polished for a Pac-Man clone. "Which game console, which computer system would be perfect without having a Pac Man clone on it!" - Well said, even the Jupiter Ace seems to have had several of them! I wonder if any were made for the Cambridge Z88 or Colour Genie....
Used to play this for bloody HOURS with my best mate and my older sister... god I LOVED this game like a part of the family! Very hard though, by far the hardest version of Pacman I've ever played. That red ghost was a bastard!
I bet a lot of people have fond memories of this one but it was so damn hard.
When the C16 first hit the high-street, I saw this on display along with Olympic Skier. Both exuded quality, and I think that's why I ended up getting a C16 many months later.
Never played this before. This already is the best Pacman clone for me. The sound is spot-on and very reminiscent to the arcade original, except for when he loses a life.
I also like the fact that it's different to any other version I've seen. Like the way the bonus fruit randomly puts itself about the screen, and when you lose a life it adds more dots to collect (devious), and even the 'H' pills which I guess stands for 'Hyperspace' randomly transports you to a different part of the maze. The only added similarity I see are the different mazes we see in Mrs Pacman.
Excellent game, excellent vid. I must do a review of this one myself too at some later point :)
